First off: What is proshipping?
At it’s core the term is used to say that all shipping is good. However, the main people that use this term are in favor of socially unacceptable ships. It’s true that the characters involved are fictional, but there’s so many situations where this type of stuff bleeds into their every day lives (the first example I can think of is the todokaras thread). Some other background is a kid killed themselves because they got harassed over a fanfiction they wrote where DreamSMP fucks his cat or something. (If anyone has the kiwi thread of that on hand please post and i'll put it right here)

What is shipping?
when you say that two characters in a piece of media are in love/fucking.

If you search the term proship on twitter you usually get some results that can go from people complaining about these people:

the same person posted about how they were thinking of writing a fanfiction where an adult Hannibal character rapes their underaged nephew. (They’re not related in the show I’m pretty sure)

My favorite proshipper to make fun of is someone by the name of miracide. They’re a retarded pedophile that gained a lot of drama from a drawing they did of Giorno from jojo stripping (He’s 15 in canon.) Ever since then they whine about antis giving them shit. I don’t know if they have a thread already, but I think they would make an excellent lolcow due to the fact that they react publicly and annoyingly to criticism any chance they get. Every time I go on their profile they’re exceptionally horny over a new 13-14 year old too.
