There can't be side-effects to a vaccine that is approved by science*. Meaning that our institutions are corrupted, so it won't be looked into, considered, or ever found.
Maybe there will be an uptick in cancers, sudden deaths, allergic reactions, or a host of other likely outcomes over the next decade for people who got one of the vaccines. But it will never be tied back to the savior of the corona wars.

I have friends who for health reasons cannot take any of the vaccines or they will die. type 2 Diabetes and so on. These vaccines wether they work or not are absolutely being rushed out the door.

Now, I won't deny the possibility that maybe some of the long timetables for vaccine development are just bureaucratic red tape, and that maybe a vaccine can be safely developed in a shorter timespan than we're used to. However, that still won't stop me from being skeptical of vaccines developed in only a few months for a virus that we didn't even really know about before last year. But try raising these basic concerns with the fukken love science crowd, and they'll lump you in with the anti-vaxx crazies of yesteryear. No, I don't think vaccines cause autism, I'm just hesitant to be forced into taking a vaccine for a disease that I've already caught and gotten over without even realizing it, especially when the government doesn't have a good track record for this kind of thing.
Somewhere farther up in this thread, someone posted a video link, I believe it was a 60 Minutes story, of the botched swine flu vaccine from the late 70's that hurt a lot of people, literally crippling some. Once more, all for a disease that turned out to not actually be the Black Death after all. The parallels to today's situation are striking. Really should've bookmarked it, I wouldn't be surprised if Youtube brought it down.
Anyway, case in point:
AstraZeneca keeps claiming everything's fine, but with so many countries saying "hang on a sec," I'm starting to wonder if there's definitely something to it. And this might be the most obvious one; the other vaccines could have problems that only manifest down the line, and we won't know until it's already far too late.
Side note: I feel like requiring vaccinations to even be allowed to engage in day-to-day activities has to be unconstitutional somehow, though I'm no expert in these things. I know that it's easy to get down on the idea of the courts doing anything to help the people, but if they do decide to roll out this "vaccine passport" idea (they will), hopefully some free states can get together and sue to put a hold on it for a while, in the same way that blue states kept suing to block Trump's immigration reforms.

I just want to point out that the issue with HIPAA here is that when you give access to medical information like this, that information loses HIPAA protection. That's how this works and why people are greatly irritated by it, it's a roundabout way to coerce people into handing information over and making it free use effectively.

The government will just "facilitate" the development of a single standard and then rely on friendly multi-national mega-corporations to shove it down your throat so it isn't technically the government requiring their use. China uses the same tactic for a lot of their Orwellian social credit shit.
