Nice, a platonic-ideal weirdo comes out of the woodwork. I've run into this type before, specifically the "greasy 40ish year old musician that no one's ever heard of". I would expect he has a long history of drug abuse and mental illness. It's highly likely that he collects an SSDI tugboat for being (correctly or otherwise) diagnosed as some sort of spastic retard. While it's possible that he supports himself full time in a kitchen somewhere, it's more likely that he collects benefits and then works his allowed 20 hours (in a kitchen somewhere).
You can usually find these types loitering around the punk/metal scene grooming complimenting deranged young girls and intoxicated boys (tons of aging fags involved here). Some of them were legitimately involved in "the scene" at some point, but just as many are stunted local burnouts whose primary roles are purchaser of alcohol for minors and cockroach hovel party house provider for same.
Giving these people access to the internet makes for a lot of cringe. Before this, only the locals would know about their drug habits, stalking, creepy approaches, and gross turns of phrase. Now you can watch one get endlessly bullied by desensitized psychos on a reality-lover message board. TBH I don't care for it much, it quickly loses it's novelty and becomes sad, gay, and annoying (they almost never just fuck off).
