Considering that plenty of confirmed AGPs actually have offed themselves (Remilia, Trans Life Line confirmed kill Elizabeth Waite, Chloe Sagal, Nia Fae Loy and many more covered by the Farms) I'll have to disagree on principle. However, what these troons have in common is that they didn't tell anyone they were planning to an-hero - they just went ahead and did it. Sharkboy's suicide baiting is just a desperate ploy for attention. It worked once, and he's tried to repeat that formula many times, with diminishing returns. He's like Amhole Orbiter Mode_view in that way; he has absolutely zero ambition to improve himself or his life, he just wants people to invest time and mental energy on a hopeless case.

It would be best for his own sake if people didn't feed into his attention-seeking behavior and just practiced tough love. His parents should have done that, anyway.

It's funny you mention this as it kinda relates to something that's been on my mind for a while: what about the kids who are rushed along the transition path by their parents? I remember reading a magazine story about a child getting transitioned:

The main focus of the story was an 11 year old who opted to transition, Olie Pullen. His mother was, of course, naturally supportive of his decision to transition. (The article completely omitting that the mother is a social worker academic who is focused on "oppressed and marginalized groups." She apparently has a degree in ethics, which is a shame as I don't think she's really utilized it while turning her son into a guinea pig.) (Archive)

Anyway, this article came out like 7 years ago. If you google Olie Pullen, you can see a lot of posts from 6-8 years ago, but there's scant Current Year information floating around. Best I could find is a group picture of what I think is Olie on his mom's Twitter from 2 years ago. (Archive)

I do think that transtrending is a thing, and we're going to be seeing a lot of detransitioning, suicides and other shit happen in the coming years. We're seeing arguments about "social contagion" occurring amongst troon clusters, to explain how you get huge anomalies in what is supposedly a 'very small' segment of the population. It reminds me a lot of when I was in high school and the attention seekers declared they were bisexual or gay, yet 10+ years later they're happily married and living a domesticated life. I think we'll be seeing this here as well, but with more permanent scars and damage being done.

Disingenuous fucks trying to make it sound like healthcare in general is just being stopped for youth who are trans, rather than the reality, that they are most likely banning those under 18 from having experimentation done on them in the form of cross-sex hormones, puberty blockers that eat their bones away, and surgery to remove their functional reproductive system. You don't "deserve and need" any of it. Leave kids to be kids, you weirdos.

I take it this moron is unfamiliar with Oregon statute ORS 109.640 which allows for minors age 15 and up to consent to medical decisions without parental notification or consent.

This included hormones. This includes surgery. And now Oregon allows for these “services” to be covered under the state’s health care program meaning the poorest, most vulnerable kids are getting state sanctioned mastectomies and horse piddle.

Honestly I'm not sure if outlawing it entirely is a good move. I feel like this will just push a lot of these trending teens towards buying from the sketchy online pharmacies. I'd rather have teenagers making shitty decisions in a clean doctor's office than in some 43 year old pedophile's home "clinic".
