I mean, yea I agree it can be endearing. I'm willing to bet some parts of her fanbase and the hololive cult in general would sperg out if she tried to collaborate with the Vshojo girls. Like, if she collabs with Connor or Sykunno I think it won't be so high of a backlash (except for those thirsting for her that their poor lil hearts shatter). But the Vshojo girls, different degrees of ya-be might be involved depending who. I feel like Nyanners might be accepted because of her upcoming concert with Kizuna Ai, Silvervale and Ironmouse are next best, I really hope no Zenwhatever and Hime Hajime/Sydsnap, and I doubt we'll see a Melody collab

I think stuff like this is also endearing.
Part of what makes me love Hololive compared to something like AI is that the talent feels like extensions of their original personas and you can really see that here.
It feels far more natural and less corporates which atleast to me and other Western Bros is a huge selling point.

I feel like this with (most) of the Vshojo girls and a lot of indie vtubers as well. They very much are their characters, because there wasn't a point where they were supposed to be idols or someone else. The exception is Hime/Sydsnap, which was entertaining last night with the Mousey, Connor, and Hime, where the Sydsnap/Hime divide lead to some goofs, such as Hime's in game name defaulting to Sydsnap, Mouse's discord overlay using a Sydsnap picture, and Connor just straight calling her Sydney.
 
Update: Mel coached Potastic into making a cookie that was essentially pure cayenne pepper. She ate it on stream and Mel successfully pulled off a joke. Growth was observed. Now she has Potastic eating raw potato. I enjoy the suffering of others sometimes so the fact that Mel got a real person to cook and eat a pure cayenne pepper cookie, maple syrup/lemon charred salmon and raw potato with slices of onion brings it up to a 9/10.

Update 2.5: Mel is now talking about her love for the term shekel and working through shekel conversion rates to real monies. Apparently shekel is "yiddish for penis". Chat is flipping the fuck out. Mel, are you secretly a farmer? Any way, 10 out of fucking 10, well done.

It's entirely possible. Some of her most authentically cute moments are when someone compliments her and it takes a minute for her galaxy brain to rev up to speed and realize they're talking about her lol.

Mouse can definitely handle serious topics when she puts her mind to it and forgets to be horny for a while. Silver as well. Fucked up thing is that despite her image, Mel is probably the tamest other than Nyanners or Froot when she's off CB and in Twitch mode. Mouse is permanently horny, Silver is obsessed with her own tits, and Zen does their own thing with the "accidental" lewd setups.

So do I. Which is why I don't care for most of them. I feel like they are just thots with a cartoon avatar, really not much different from normal titty streamers. The Holo-kayfabe is important for my enjoyment, because it prevents the girls from doing a lot of the stuff that normally repels me from female streamers.

I feel like Ollie collabing with a Vshojo is not that big of a deal because the HoloID girls do collab with others outside of Holo/Niji(Maybe mostly Moona) and you don't see that poison the other Holo branches, but there's a much bigger risk if it was with Calli, that gives them a foot in the door to the other EN girls then to the JP ones.

Can you imagine Sydsnap doing a collab with Ina or Watame? Vshojo mostly represent the side of vtubers I dislike(cum is hilarious lolol) If that was the norm for Vtubers. I'm out niggas

I highly doubt any VShoujo collab gets a green light from the Cover mothership anyway. They still have managers and even their indie collabs have to be ok'd.

It'll be this, in Cover's eyes there's too much risk and not enough reward when it comes to VShojo. All it takes is a Japanese company granting license to Cover to find out who the likes of Melody or Nyanners are to suddenly cut the feet out from various sponsorships, partnerships, and marketing projects.

Doesn't mean it'll never happen (if anything Ollie is the ideal guinea pig), but I expect Cover will forbid such collabs for the foreseeable future.

I think this is why Nyanners working with Kizuna AI is a big deal - that's a huge stepping stone by working with another Japanese media company.

This really - no one gives a shit if Ollie does a major yabe tomorrow and all of HoloID will have to graduate as a result

But hell will be raised if Kiara so much as attempts to even do anything that could potentially harm HoloEN
