I'm still reading through the thread, but can anyone answer me, with any certainty, why Mandalore decided to become embroiled in such a sordid affair? The man has everything a YouTuber could dream of - consistent quality; a growing audience; a growing Patreon support; official sponsorships; no personal drama; and even the rugged approval of places like 4chan (I even remember threads where he himself would participate, including sending photos). And now, since he took part in judging someone, he himself is already being judged. Granted, most of those messages are words of understanding and encouragement, but still - the gates have been opened. The precedent has been set. Mandalore has officially become one of the "Internet People", as Tonkasaw used to call them.
