I'm going to reveal a little bit about my powerlevel but I work with people who are depressed and were victims of abuse. And most of them they don't either want to address their complex and is really fucking hard for them to achieve what is considered normal functionality and emotional stability. And I'm talking years of therapy and counseling. One bad situation in life has consequences for years.

I don't see troons becoming normal people.

Thing is, not every troon is that guy. Not every troon is a degenerate furry pedo Discord mod. There are many troons who fall closer to normality than that and could improve with some major changes. As for the degenerate furry pedo you're describing, if he's exhausted all his potential lifelines to bettering himself? That's when it'd be okay to say they're better off dead. If you're shown the error of your ways and you continuously fuck up improving yourself to the point of impossibility, there's nothing that can really be done. Wanted to share a trans webcomic here. Personally I kind of like it (even though it hasn't updated in a long time), but I'm also curious what you guys think of it. It's called Mr Normal, takes place in a college in Michigan.

Author definitely seems to buy into the whole "trans women are women" line, but also seems to not be completely out-of-touch with reality. Might just be seeing it through rose-tinted glasses because I first read it before peaking.

Fake main character is Kurt. He's a total chad, shallow and a phony. Roommates with
Jack/Karen. He's a very religious guy who starts out suicidal and hating himself for wanting to be a girl. He finally troons out after meeting
Adam/Evelyn. I feel like this is the character that the author most identifies with. He's also a religious guy, but he loves himself and is generally very positive and acts like an autistic male, but he's not out as trans. He's friends with
August. She's an SJW who likes Adam and hates Jack. She's roommates with
Melo. She's a shy girl, kind of artsy. She's the romantic interest of
Leander. He's a shy guy, kind of artsy. Mostly just fails to fit in. He's also roommates with Adam.

This comic is basically in a second draft. The original format was a lot cleaner and definitely didn't have as much stuff about committing suicide if he didn't transition (though it ended before the actual suicide attempt would have happened)

Jack hates women, it's hard to say whether the author thinks his justification of "seeing girls living normal lives reminds me that I'll never have that" is legitimate. Jack does turn out to be an asshole because as soon as he realizes that he passes and that people will treat him as a woman he immediately abandons Adam and starts milking the positive attention. On the other hand, this could just be the author extending his own dislike of women to passing trannies.

No? At least with me this was the experience at all. Sure most girls did make up, dressed feminine manner and had mainly female friends but that was kinda it. Being a tomboy was absolutely fine and had no negative impact on you social standing. No one made fun of you not being up date about fashion as long as you could get clean t shirt and jeans level. Actually outside of parties going all out with make up and dressing to impress was much more likely to get raised eyebrows because it looked so fake and impractical. Soft and dainty were not seen that positive traits because you were expected look after yourself and get your school and hobbies done.

Following peers happened with both sexes and if you couldn't do that could have negative impact because you couldn't take part in common conversations and could get annoying if you didn't read the room. Some more charismatic or hot individuals could get away with it but most were expected follow the common interest or be left out.

I was in an LGB group that was sperging out about it even when multiple people showed evidence it was trolling - but it was gay ops, can't remember if it was 4chan - the original spreader ended up being a joke though. Whoever did it, did successfully get it to spread a little bit, but it had more to do with less informed people blindly reposting whatever trans "history" they could find than any true revisionist malice or nuttery. The worst I saw was a kid on twitter reflexively arguing with another pro-trans person who pointed out the reality of the situation - that weird teenage dunning-kruger zoomer "you don't know what you're talking about, bigot!" rage.

I think I worded wrong about soft and dainty. Because that's certainly not "good". But rather following peers and whatever is popular in social group mostly. And there's much stronger peer pressure among girls than boys. I think it depends on the places to.

The thing is. It is not only autistic people who failed to do that. A lot of severely abused children are. But people don't talk about them. These days anything socially awkward = autism. A lot of kids who refused to follow peer pressure for their personal reasons. Kids who come from other cultures or socio-economic class may fail to read the room and be socially awkward too. It eems like a dying common sense to recognise that kids are stupid sometimes because of many reasons that isn't the 'tism.
