Are you serious? I got the joke instantly. The gag is that 30-40 years ago, conservative Boomers were paranoid about satanic messages in media, and were on a witch hunt to cancel things they deemed problematic. Now in current year, Millennials are adults and thus the new wave of paranoid, delusional Chicken Littles who constantly attack everything as being racist – all in all, having absolute zero sense of irony and self awareness that they're effectively the new Boomers.

I'm a Xennial (older Millennial, late 30s and powerleveling) and I distinctly remember the Satanic Panic and how Boomers were on a crusade to censor media. In a strange turn of events, the progressive Millennials have filled their parents' role of being delusional and wanting to censor everything.
Not just Boomers. My parents are Gen-Xers, and though they didn't buy into the entire Satanic panic, they didn't allow me to read Harry Potter and several friends of theirs around their age bought into the panic hook, line, and sinker.

Weirdly, from what I've observed a lot of zoomers are totally onboard with censorship of scary alt-right/MAGA/Nazi ideas and cancelling people for ____phobic or ____ist language. Used to be the kids thought that kind of thinking was for stuffy old church ladies.

Yes, so you agree that value is established beyond what its direct transactional ability is. You can trade bitcoin, use it in transactions, and it has functional value relative to other people just like land. Land still has value if you can't grow anything on it and if nobody wants to rent it. If what you're trying to say is bitcoin can only be counted you are simply wrong, and it's an odd thing to want to pursue.
It's a lot like the old "you can't eat gold"... adage? Truism? Whatever. "Something is worth as much as someone else is willing to give for it" and all that. Saying that crypto has no inherent value because you can't do anything directly with it is a bit fallacious. I'm not really a fan of crypto but I recognize that it's a good medium for storing value since it can be, depending on what kind it is, either directly or at the very least through an ordered process be exchanged for direct currency.

Just to build on the point you made in this post, I guess.

Eh, I get it, but I think it falls short. Redhats were mostly laughing at the "small" businesses that attempted to placate BLM and got railroaded anyway.
There were cases of that, but outside of accelerationists and the Far-Right, the overarching sentiment across the board was to condemn the burning and looting of corporate franchises as bad. Neither of these groups were red-hats or MAGApedes. This is probably making fun of the Matt Walsh and Internet-Neocon types.

Never correct an enemy when he fucks his own shit up.

No, that shit's sad. Like the Pakistani immigrant who independent drove a limo he owned for work. That got burned up in 2017 inauguration protests. Or the black Milwaukee retired fire fighter who started a bar to remain part of his community. That was destroyed in BLM protests. So he just packed his shit up and left because it was clear the community didn't care about him. Coke saying "be less white" and getting their shit destroyed by chimps, thats comeuppance.

I think the message is that they try to appease ONE community, which exiles the other. Then said community you try to appease just destroys your business because ... reasons.

could also mean that redhats while disagreeing with some messages still feel sad when someone's work is destroyed by the ones they tried to appease

I get the idea but in the end it doesn't really matter since the corporations have insurance to cover damages and are more likely to have police come to rescue them, so damage to them is immaterial.
Do people actually believe that shit?
Ever dealt with an insurance for anything that somebody else destroyed, and the other side wasn't insured?
Insurances will try every fucking thing to not pay you the amount close to what is needed to compensate.
Corporations are lucky to be so big so they can employ rabid lawyers to attack everything for good measure.
I'd like to know how much the small business owners got compensated their insurance, if they got anything at all.

Only people who have never filed an insurance claim would be retarded enough to pull the "BUT THEY HAVE INSURANCE" line.

And what of the people working there? Being harassed at a job because the corporation wants to virtue signal.

Large corporations will find a way to write off the looting and anything they can’t write off will just pass along the customers. Raising the price of a sugary coffee drink from $5.09 to $5.19 is barely going to escape notice.

Also there are plenty of red hats who reflexively worship any corporate entity due to decades of right wing programming to worship big business, even if they hate you. This is turning around a little bit fortunately.

Just so it would be clear, I'm speaking about corporations only. Small and medium businesses who got fucked were likely not insured or received partial compensation.

Fuck people working in Corporations.

I'd blame the media and universities to make a distinction of "good corporations" (big tech, Disney, Amazon) and "bad corporations" (big pharma, everything remotely connected to the right). Bonus points if the latter is used to justify new laws that help the former.
