okay, jokes aside...
a lot of us here are left wing, aka the "acceptable" part of the political spectrum to you. and many of us don't even hate trans people, even though we often joke that we do (some openly do, not denying that). some of us women were liberal feminist handmaidens, or even identified as nonbinary or trans ourselves. we were endlessly pliant and followed all the right discourse points and gave part of ourselves away to fuel the flavor of the day. metaphorically, it was more or less like a semi-abusive relationship between women and the community. sane, respectful trans people should be left alone, yada yada, whatever.
the reality is males, with the same propensity for violence as any other (possibly more considering some live out AGP and other shit), are demanding more from us, to the point where it has long passed "human decency" and plunged headlong into terrifying sexual demands to "change" sexualities, ironic strengthening of the gender binary (i get called a man more for being myself, people probably think transition is "right" for me), demands to transition confused children away from their parents, imposing ridiculous physical and financial costs on gnc people who should have more options other than transition, the imminent obliteration of women's sports, the curtailing of the free speech of mainly women if anything goes wrong with trans people in their spaces (including actual fines and jail time in some places!), the orwellian "retooling" of what it means to be "in denial of science and history" by accepting sex and sex oppression as real, and the complete restructuring of language, which is known to be a form of thought control. this isn't even all of the issues with the community. not to mention there are some extremely popular predators in the community that no one in the community even bothers to distance themselves from and call out, and victims know that they can't come out or risk being called "transphobic". and since this paragraph and that one sentence has gotten far too long already, talk to detransitioners about how transition didn't help them and they realized that this surge in identification is dangerous and want to lessen its inevitable impact. those driving this push to brand trans as the "new gay" are extremely wealthy and powerful and include "civil rights" organizations and the pharmaceutical industry.
not to mention the trans cult is swimming with self-induced paranoia when few trans people are murdered outside of south american prostitutes, so you probably came here to "confirm" that we all hate trans people and want them dead and will commit hate crimes. but we won't. we just don't want the negatives to harm people. you could be helping us. but you're not!
either these are issues to you or they aren't, and if they are, then fucking do something about it within your own community.
'til then, we will use the last places we can speak freely to bring it up until the horror sets in of how many issues this caused.
