Also, just putting this out there: The "vigils" outside of the hospital ... Of the many clips that I have seen, these vigils have been this shockingly wholesome mix of prayer and a block party.

After seeing all of the bad happening in the world, it was oddly quite refreshing to see so many people come together and not destroy shit or have some agenda ...

Where The Hood At used to get blasted at every bar I went to in college at 1AM. I went to a huge state school. It got everyone going, black/white, chicks/guys.

I'm not an anti-vaxxer (the chance of dying from the Pfizer vaccine is something like 1/100000 and thats with a dataset skewed older) but caution is advised for Covid vaccines on people with asthma as averse reactions have been reported. DMX had asthma so severe that as a child he regularly had to go the emergency room so complications are certainly not out of the question.

Anaphylaxis is profoundly rare, anaphylaxis associated cardiac arrest is far rarer and mainly occurs in people who already have CAD.
Asthma is not a contraindication to COVID vaccines or any vaccine that isn't LAIV, and it is only a hard contraindication in children (≤ 5) even for LAIV. LAIV is unique in that it can cause flu-like symptoms (as well inflammatory symptoms) including wheezing, which would obviously be a concern in children that have already-compromised lungs which could spasm out of control at any moment.
Other vaccines used in common practice, categorically, cannot. Layperson resources and some physicians, generally non-specialists/GPs, have expressed "concerns" about asthma patients with COVID vaccines based primarily on their past experience with LAIV, but these concerns have not been borne out in any meaningful way and were not based on sound medicine, frankly speaking.
The number of investigated and vetted cases of death causally linked by the Pfizer vaccine is zero. Anaphylaxis is rare, but not a mystery, and rarely progresses past a rash. No non-anaphylaxis pathologies have been reported, and not due to any lack of looking for them. The AstraZeneca scare (pending Heparin malpractice investigations on the hospitals reporting it) should be proof enough of that. Even "one in a million" is too high a likelihood to be realistic, if a vaccine death does occur, it's on the scale of consecutive lottery wins and spontaneous combustion.

The meltdown of antivaxxer Blacks (if this takes off) and the Chauvin trial ending will be incredible. Who said "antivax"? Firstly it was about one vaccine in particular. Secondly I said "vaccine investigation" not abolition. Lastly I was making a point about how protestors don't care about actual subjects or real men but criminal pieces of trash every single time. And looting.

Point is, DMX deserved better. Side effects of the vaccine, or drugs, or just having a heart that was battered from rough living. Nice to see the vigils though.
