Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Unless said loophole allows them to bypass the Senate(lol if you think a few of the more moderate dems on the senate will vote yes on adding more justices to the SCOTUS, or any other similar fuckery with the courts for that matter), they aren't going to be able to accomplish much.
senate parlimentarian already allowed a 51 vote majority instead of the usual 60

Anyone else get the feeling this administration is schizophrenic? Trumps administration was chaotic but it still had the feel of going in a direction. This just feels like they are throwing shit against the wall and hoping no one calls them on it.
Biden's advisors and Kamala Harris(I.E the people really running the show in the white house right now)obviously have differences of opinion among themselves about what should be done both domestically and foreign policy wise. Since Biden is mentally incapacitated, he can't properly captain the ship as it were and that results in the actions we're seeing now.

Trump had his resignations, but in terms of them being cosigned with scandals, I hope (fingers-crossed) that Joe has a run like Donald than his boy Barry. 'Cause like those mass shootings, those scandalous resignations were fast and furious.

An interesting take. I wonder what his ulterior motive is.
Re-election. One need not be a seer to see his motives. Sinema is the same. Pseudo-cons on Twitter thought them based and redpilled, and they easily voted to convict former president Trump. Just like that. And now they've gotta save face.

If Manchin's wife, however, did take Biden's job offer, that's a whole new wrench for hopeful Republicans.

There likely isn’t one. As people have said several times already West Virginia is as of now very red; and he knows the only reason he has his seat is inertia. The moment he does the wrong thing his ass is grass. Having a senator in senior commitee positions has value, but there are limits to that.

"An AK in every garage and a Baretta in every kitchen." That should be a politicians motto.

I laughed way too hard about this.
Fascinating how Trump's presidency had a clear purpose that it worked towards (wall/migrants, regulatory/governmental reform, domestic energy production, international trade reform, withdrawal from Iraq/Afghanistan), even though it was constantly being undermined by the DC establishment and portrayed in media as unstable and dictatorial.

Meanwhile I think it's pretty clear at this point that Biden's presidency is full of returning Obama-era McKinsey consultant-manager-types who are completely out of touch with the country, working within their own DC bubble- and yet is being portrayed in the media as the sublime restoration of America.

Liberal lust for power aside, why is DC worthy of statehood on its own, any more than, say, New York City?
NYC is already part of New York and would actually dilute its blueness if you spun it off into its own state. And the official line with DC statehood is that it's unfair for them to not be a state because of their special status giving them no actual representation in Congress. Never mind that their special status was intentionally designed that way.
