Her nutty "nuke Africa" stuff is only half of it. The other half is the retarded Newgrounds group who lived for lol random edgy (didn't we all?) and whatever Furries she befriended. Honestly the only difference between her and most Newgrounds animators is that they veered to various degrees of Left and she went Right into a wall. Troma was about as good for someone's mental health as any given /pol/ thread (better for employment opportunities but eh).
Hindsight is everything but it seems like being in that community of "like-minded sick fucks" is what started the spiral (aside from the super rape). If her art had fallen into the hands of less retarded people--but those who could still appreciate its absurdity--she could've been closer to normal, but that'd mean befriending someone with maturity which I can imagine was twice as hard for her as anyone else.
Her work was watched, even appreciated, but it was never "understood" it seems, and neither was she.
I could be thinking too deeply, but you don't just go from dog rape cartoons to uploading yourself running around like a lunatic with your tits out. That doesn't happen without transition.
Edit: As an aside, I'll also note that "drawing out your demons" so to speak (meaningful pun) is only healthy if you're overcoming trauma or if you have overcome it entirely, else you end up not channeling them but rather fixating on them and never becoming healthy. You'll be like that one Indonesian comic artist who keeps drawing kids being raped/killed or setting themselves on fire.
