Wuhan Coronavirus: Megathread - Got too big

Literally I know no one who even caught covid let alone died. I just hate branch covidian retards like yourself. It's just the flu
(tbf its closer to a bad cold than a flu, but i'm a taxonomy autist)

Same here. Literally everyone I know who caught had either no symptoms (myself included) or very mild symptoms. I know of one girl in my immediate circle who described her symptoms as "a really nasty cold + headache & fatigue"; that's it.

But something I've noticed with Branch Covidians is that they always resort to this impending fate narrative.
"You will catch COVID and you will die!"
"I already had COVID and it was nothing."
"Well the new variants WILL reinfect you and you WILL die!"
Like they are as certain, if not more certain, of their version of "hell" (e.g. catching COVID) than are any religion of their negative afterlife hell.

Don't get me started on Branch Covidians who are also in the "Earth is Overpopulated!" cult...

Has anyone heard of this anti-parasite drug or something called Ivermectin that's being used preventively against COVID? Some family of mine is considering getting into it since the president of his company has been taking it for 6 months on the private advice of his doctor, who's also been taking it. Saw a video of some doctor claiming in some kind of hearing in Wisconsin that it's effective with several tests, but the FDA isn't reccomending it.

It sounds to me that it's similar to
Hydroxychloroquine, in the sense that they're both cheap medicines that supposedly reduced symptoms. A conspiratorial part of me suspects that the FDA doesn't want people to be self-medicating cause they want everyone to go for the vaccines, but perhaps they just can't reccomend it cause it's relatively untested. Just wanted to hear if anyone heard of it so I can see if it's worth looking into.

It might help some (I guess, this is not a recommendation), but you would have to take it on a regular basis before you get infected. If you can prove to your doctors that you are newly infected (PCR tested 3 days after exposure is best), you should get convalescent plasma transfusion or a monoclonal cocktail injection. They are proven to work extremely well, way better that ivermectin, for sure. Molnupiravir is an oral antiviral that might work much better than ivermectin as well, but I doubt you could get it.

Yeah it looks promising, but big pharma (and all their cronies) have hedged their bets and have little interest in investigating something that isn't going to make them billions.

But there are also wacko people saying it is part of a miracle cure.

Countries in South America and Asia are starting to use it, so the actually efficacy will be known soon.

Norway prime minister fined £1,715 for breaking coronavirus rules with birthday party

Police have issued Norway’s prime minster with a fine for breaching coronavirus restrictions during her birthday party earlier this year.

Prime minister Erna Solberg hosted a 60th birthday celebration attended by 13 people in late February, breaking her own government’s ban on gatherings of more than 10.

She has since apologised for her actions, stating that she was “very sad about what has happened”.

She has been fined 20,000 Norwegian crowns (£1,715) for the breach, police chief Ole Saeverud told a news conference on Friday.

They said that they would not have issued a fine in most similar cases, but did so because Ms Solberg has led the government’s imposition of restrictions.

Emphasising the prime minister’s position of responsibility, the police chief said that “all are not equal in front of the law” despite the law being “the same for all”.

He explained: “It is therefore correct to issue a fine in order to uphold the general public’s trust in the rules on social restrictions.”

Get fucked bitch, shame just a fine.

Also another mask freakout, because they are always funny

I never really understood the HCQ craze in the first place.
One side was treating it like a magical anti-COVID cure, the other was acting like it was poison.

The reality was it probably helped reduce symptoms but was far from a full preventative or effective treatment; but acting like a drug that has been around for decades is suddenly fucking poison raised so many alarm bells in the back of my head.
Like why not just attack its efficacy instead of "HCQ kills you and only trumptards take it!"?

The fact that their are still people acting like the sky is falling over this whole thing is insane. it's now a completely vaccine preventable disease obviously do the normal things you would to protect against any disease the government really has still got people terrified.

It's also not a cure, nor preventing you from getting infected (it will help you to produce antibodies to fight an infection)

And it looks like you will require perpetual booster shots (indications every 6 months).

Having a valid alternative, when you are not able/willing to get an unapproved vaccine will be attractive to a lot of people.

I agree about the mania thing ... fucking paranoid idiots

I really do think that if no one had ever even mentioned Covid as being a thing that exists, the world would have kept chugging along normally for the most part and we'd just for the most part say "The flu sure is a doozy this year, seems like everyone is getting it" by the water cooler. We'd be able accept that, yes, it is normal for people over the age of 80 to die and things like the flu (often in addition to whatever people of that age have) can take them out. Instead, there's people acting like entering their local Walmart's parking lot is like walking up to Vault 87, or that a fat geriatric with diabetes and memories of a time before the microwave oven was in every home would've made it to be 110 years old if not for the Guangdong Gonorrhea.

Yeah, that's something that's really grating me. The numbers tell one story, but the Branch Covidians are all "Well, you'll see when you have a tube down your windpipe". Well, that won't happen. Because in my age bracket barely 200 people died so far, and I'm not a fatass, so risk is exceedingly low. Fuck your Long Covid bullshit, pretty sure by now it's mainly hearsay and Munchhausen/Proxy faggots demanding attention for being weak shits.
The Covidians are trying to scaremonger hard these days with video of toddlers having seizures and shit, but a toddler that had her appendix removed already strikes me as one that isn't perfectly healthy.
We have a student in our company who also works as an EMT or something, he told me about a 23 year old girl that died of the Coof. I'm sorry, I won't be scared of this alleged case of a totally healthy and fit 23 year old girl suddenly dying of the Coof, because she's in a very exclusive club of maybe two dozen people in total in this country that managed to die at that age. More people in the age bracket die each weekend when they drive drunk after a party (well, not anymore since partys are verboten). Either she was very, very unlucky, or she wasn't as healthy as he claimed she was.
Long Covid, yeah right. A proper virus infection can fuck you up for a while, no doubt about it. But debilitating symptoms, even after a mild infection? Fuck. Off. I don't believe you, it's a fucking respiratory virus and you're fucking weak because you laid down for a few days. It's normal. But some people like the attention they can get from not getting up anymore. I noticed a lot of Twattertwats with mono-thematic accounts talking about this, usually "chronically ill", particularly "chronic fatigue syndrome" of some sort.

So we are about a week into the third wave nonsense, hardcore lockdown territory yet again. They are essentially preventing people from getting supplies that are deemed to be not essential, such as clothes, baby stuff, toys, and so on in a lot of businesses. I have seen bunch of posts of stores around town that have had big fucking X's a crossed things like shoes or anything of that nature in the stores. I have seen many of the lefty cucked Leafs seethe over this new wave of lockdowns as soon as the weather began to get nicer. Seems to me that people are finally beginning to realize the ramifications, though there are a fair share of Karen's and vaccine peddlers.

My Chef buddy of mine said the restaurant was doing good and was finally going to get me back on the schedule because the hours where there, but then...BAM, Doug Ford shut down the whole fucking provience again. Hence I still await my job to have me back, yet for another wave of lockdowns. Apparently there is a rumor that most of the restaurants, bars, and small businesses a like a currently in talks of doing a full scale resistance, just opening their fucking doors and telling the province and the mayor to get fucked. I have never seen so many closed businesses, even 2008 wasn't this fucking bad.

People are super fed up, I'm super fed up. I try to get out as much as I can, but only can do so much when nothing is open, you are limited of where you can go, and especially for the levels of comfort people have with each other at the moment. You don't know how hardcore most people have been blasted with propaganda or not.

Currently in the process of finishing my first year of digital school. I can admit despite the not being in person thing has its disadvantages, I like not having to take an hour and a half to get to school. Though the lack of socialization and seeing people has fucked me up hardcore. I was outside just going to the store the other day, first nice day of Spring, and I was tripping about the fact it's been a fucking year of this. Like the psychological effects are ridiculous, I couldn't imagine what prisoners feel like though. The feeling I can imagine would be some what similar.

This is how the government, and globalists view the respective populations of the community. Cattle, no empathy, and disconnected from the common ones. I've been fortunate enough to maintain somewhat distracted because of my post secondary endeavors, so I haven't really had the ability to dwell on it, unlike this time last year when it all began. The shit that we've all seen over the last year is unfucking believable, I can't imagine talking to me two years in the past, and tell him what the twenties where going to involve.

I have a strong feeling that this shit is going to be coming to an end soon, just feeling the energy of how fed up the general population is with all of it is exciting. Though at the same time, the amount of brute force anger is something to behold. May this finally be the tipping point for people to take their constitutional rights back??? Probably not lol, just going to seethe, bitch on Twitter, and still not go out and vote. Or still think the same globalist card carrying factions are still going to be their saving grace, meanwhile still indulging in the slop from the gatekeepers trouth.

Canada is a failed state at this point, which I can see it resemble a communist bloc country at this point. Anything not associated with the state has been wiped out, property values have risen too high, inflation has set in driving up prices to suck astronomical rates it is sickening. All of the main line parties represent the same oppressive anti human rhetoric. I think the good thing out of all of the bad are the sensible folk are more focused and United despite the year of suffering. Blue check marks and the same Globo-Hommo troons have killed all creditably, blowing their load too quick. Trying to get as many people in their clown world level of control as possible. I pray that as a society we learn from this, and we remember the lessons.

The question is will we? Seeing most of those on this forum are of mixed demographic, I suggest that the sentiment from the coof was that it was the biggest propaganda campaign I have ever seen in my life. I've lived through September 11th, Iraq War, Obama Years, and Arab Spring. Those where all campaigns with their own effects, but this was a joint effort between the usual suspects. Get the jab and eat their bugs they say, is beginning to remind me of the sentiment of let them eat their cake. Maybe we can finally cut the head off of this hydra for good, one spergy shit post at a time.

"Long Covid" makes me laugh co worker got it was back to work in 2 weeks like nothing happened my dads 83 year old mother who also happens to be a diabetic got it they put her on oxygen for a bit she's absolutely fine.
"Long Covid" is a name they've invented to make the somewhat rare, but not unexpected side effect of post-viral fatigue sound big and menacing. A virus will destructively attack the cells in your body to replicate itself, so it's not surprising that a few people will end up with chronic issues after that. The only surprise is that so many people are credulous enough to believe that this is an entirely new phenomenon that has never been seen before, purely because the media gave it a scary name and a big flash title sequence.

well it is important to remember there are different kinds of vaccines.

The ones they dreamed up here in the USA very well could have side effects - most likely from the delivery ingredients rather than the RNA. The side effects of the delivery system ingredients will be the likely culprit if if does go badly. However the vaccines produced from the dead virus (classic vaccine production) which was done in some other countries is almost a zero chance of any side effects worthy of note.

If I had a choice (and I didn't) of the china vaccine (dead virus, classic production) I would have taken it rather than the RNA one I got here in the USA.
Not quite. The Johnson and Johnson vax is a traditional one, not MRNA. And it's the one where a guy took it and his skin fell off.
In what way has covid been shown to be "much more lethal" than the flu? The numbers are elevated, but in a way that could be said it's more due to our hyperfocus on tracking ever aspect of it than anything else. It's not uber-ebola.
This is not just fucking pneumonia. It is everything but the kitchen sink. Lungs, heart, kidneys, liver, brain, blood vessels, testes. It affects them all.
There are places that are open with no restrictions and no masks. What's stopping you from moving to a place where your rights and well-being are respected?

You get one shot at life. Don't waste too much of it hoping where you live will suddenly decide to stop being crazy.
Because I have a job and own a house? It's not as easy as that to pack up and move someplace that opened bars earlier, especially when 2 years from now the Federal government may be just as crazy with rules in every state.
