The woke's stance is that prior to 1960s America, women lived in unbelievable suffering and oppression, being literal slaves to the male for the entirety of human history, only changing when the NOBLE SLUTS emancipated wamyxn by allowing them to take an infinite number of dicks without getting pregnant, or something. I vaguely remember that discussion by Dr. Peterson, but couldn't quote it verbatim. IIRC his point was that men and women were in a partnership for all of human history -- yes, life sucked for women a lot of time during history, but life sucked for men pretty much all of human history too. It's only in the past 100 years in the West that you basically saw an end to the caste system thanks to technology, capitalism, and the hard work of white Europeans, where even the poorest have 100 channels of entertainment on a 65" 4K HDTV and generally speaking enough food and shelter not to worry about dying in the street.
