I'm just imagining a 5-star restaurant with mandatory Suit/Tie and everyone is lined up holding empty plates to eat mediocre food on warmers.

Nothing screams FANCY more than a person weighing your food on a scale to charge you for the leftover slop you want to take home.

Wanna bet Phil made Kat stuff her purse with food to save money?
some people say he went to a place called feast buffet. pan asian buffet, prices are more expensive than regular buffet......but its still a fucking buffet. on google map you can take a virtual tour and yeah......fancy my ass. i dont care how you place food in a plate, that doesnt make it fancy
prices for dinner for weekend is 31.99 per person

and that chocolate spoon he was fawning over? you can get a spoon mold for choolate for a whopping 4$ to make 6 of em

I really wish Phil could go to Disneyland/World the complaining he would do when he got back would be amazing.
"Can you believe how many idiots there were in Disneyland? What world do those mah-rans live in? Don't they know that there's this thing called COVID going around??? I mean by God there's flagellant monks and death wagons going around! It was just like that scene in Monty Python dood!"

And yeah, I know. Being way too charitable here, Dave probably never watched any Monty Python sketch, let alone one of their movies.

All I can imagine is Phil snorting and spitting as he yells at her to shovel more slop into her shirt.

I could see him parroting some of the more common-knowledge python shit like "tis only a flesh wound" but he'd probably think that sounded too gay. Though I have a hard time imagining him watching Meaning of Life (still my favorite).

I doubt he'd use it himself, it'd be more like "PhilsWaifu69 just cheered and said: tis only a flesh wound.. Now apparently this is a massively popular bit from a movie called Monty Python and the Holy Grail? I BELIEVE this movie came out sometime before I was born, and I remember watching it as a kid.. alright.. Okaay, thanks for the cheer"

you know damn well if he knew monty python he would say 'i fart in your general direction' whenever some troll insults him

Sean isn’t supposed to be a joke character, he just happens to be the worst character in 3rd Strike. He’s one of the best characters in 2nd Impact.

Sean is just bad due to how 3S works, not because he's a meme character. Alex is also bottom tier yet people have won the Coop Cup (best 3S tourney in the world) with him. You can kinda play both to dunk on people extremely hard, but you can also do that playing a higher tier character like Urien and doing unblockable setups or clapping them with Hugo.

The meme character in 3S is Twelve, who's best super is to become the opponent and his combos leave him open to punishes.

I would say Twelve is far worse than Sean.

He's definite trash but not as bad as Twelve. Remy/Alex who are considered kinda bad (although Pierrot redeemed Remy) are better than Sean in the same manner he's better than Twelve imho.

Also Sean's sister is a qt.
Thank you for explaining him more. I thought he was a Dan. A joke option. From what I gather, he is more of a challenge character. Not good on the surface, but good if you know the tricks.

Dan is trash. His fireball goes like an inch. He sucks a big one.

When you beat your buddy with Dan, Bro, your opponent sucks. Dan is the worst. If you lose to that, pack it up and go home.

I don't know what version of "Guy Puncher Super Turbo Delux Super Turbo Extreme 2 Extra" he's playing, but it's gay all around.

Number One North American player in the world, ladies and gentlemen.

he wont be playing games due to age or some health shit.
People who have no life or goals or responsibilities, play video games all day, which would mainly compose of children, teenagers and some young adults. They are only living in the moment and not thinking forward and planning accordingly with basic life skills. Phil seems to have this mentality of living in the moment and everything being "unexpected" as a previous poster here said, which also ties into his being stuck in a teenage like mentality of stunted growth. With that being said, playing video games is one of the easiest physical things that anyone can do, and if Phil can't even do this, then his life is basically over. His physical and mental atrophy seems to be going exponential, the next year or two could prove to be a major downward spiral for Phil. His luck with the whales and people believing his lies will end one day, and when that happens, he will hit the wall with full velocity and we will be able to see it happen in real time.

If not for all the effort involved in melting down chocolate, pouring it into molds, and letting it solidify, Phil would absolutely replace all of his plastic dinnerware with chocolate. Less trash to take out and more shit to stuff down his pasty gob. And I know I said "effort" even though it's, you know, next to no effort at all, but to Phil, any quantifiable effort besides "buy and consoom" is too much effort for him, as we all know very well.

But maybe you can find edible pre-made dinnerware available for bulk purchase on Amazon, which would alleviate all the trouble entirely. If that's the case then go ahead and bump up your stream tips goal to a slick $200 to account for that extra "bill" added to all your real mature hard-working adult expenses, Philly-boy.

Probably a dumb question but I'm curious if it's been done anywhere and if not maybe when I get some time I'll do it, but since all of DSP's financial situations are known I.E. we know his internet and how much he spends per game for his "business", we know his mortgage and association fees etc. and we know how much he rakes in give or take, what the discrepancies between what his income and out going bills are now that he's free from credit cards.

Sean is considered the worst in SF3, but good players are able to use him effectively.

Just don't tell Phil that. You'd think he'd at least try to use Q more and spam his taunt which boosts his defence, but I guess that's for scrubs.
Okay, explaining tiers and good characters for you scrubs. First off tiers don't matter when there is a gap in skill level. A good tier list should be a measure of their match ups against the rest of the cast. Like for example a top tier character against two equally skilled players should have like a 60-40 (60 wins out of 100) match up against any character that you throw them at. Or possibly just like very few unfavorable match ups (winning less then 50 out of 100). It depends on how well the game is balanced and how the tier list is made. Get the idea?

Now what makes a character good or bad? Or rather, what makes the match ups good or bad. Tools. What a character can do. Especially in comparison to other characters. That being important because like someone with really damaging fireballs, but slow, would be ass in Third Strike because parries can repel fireballs. As a really broad example. Please do not start an argument on that. Now these tools can be really subtle, like start up frames or the ability to combo. Which is where Sean kind of falls in Third Strike. His numbers are just terrible essentially.

So where does this leave Phil actually? Phil is a bit of a skill gate player. Because he plays skill gate characters, pardon my TVTropes name for it but I like the name. It means that he plays characters that are hard to beat if you are a noob, but easy to beat if you're remotely good. These take the forms of characters with really damaging buttons. For example a better character in a fighting game will have huge combo output and or all kinds of stuff they can do. But Phil plays like Zangief, who has very little tools, but each of his moves does huge damage. So, its kind of like slopping in pool/billiards. Phil's whole strategy has always been catch in easy, giant chunks of damage, where you can get it. Credit where it's due, that can be hard as in SF2 damage was kind of proportional to how hard it was to perform the move. Like Zangief's 360 does giant fucking damage, because it's really hard to set up and physically do. Because Capcom didn't initially realize people would just perfect these inputs. But taking away credit because that's how Phil has always played. That's by and large his secret EVO win. Huge damaging characters, exploiting areas that are hard to defend. Means his opponent can make fewer mistakes than he can. And because this is a game no one knew, it was just everyone making mistakes.

Pretty much, Dan was originally a meme character Capcom added as a shot at SNKs Art of Fighting (wears a Ryo gi, long hair like Robert and in pink like Yuri) his fireball is shit because that's how the AoF mechanics works you had a ki meter the lower it was the weaker the move.
While my autism is on full blown mode. It was also because Capcom viewed Art of Fighting as SNK just stealing their game. How cute the joke was is up in the air as the AoF people were former Capcom guys. So it could be a bitter "ha you guys made an inferior product". Or a ribbing sort of "Look at this cute SNK nod we made, but he sucks because our old coworkers are just the worst, winky face"

I like how Phil is trying to talk down to the CDC about withdrawing vaccines as if he knows how any of it works. By all means Phil, get a bloodclot if you want to go to the buffett so badly.

And how dare they stop Phil from getting his vaccine on Thursday! Don't they know his wife will have to sit on hold for hours!?

"I want the vaccine! My wife wants the vaccine! But I can't get it!" - 39 year old man having a tantrum he can't get vaccinated before all the vulnerable people.

lol this COVID vaccination segment is pure gold right now. Motherfucker makes it sound like getting a vaccination scheduled is this Herculean task just because it's just slightly more complex than ordering takeout at a fast food drive-thru.
The same man that complains that people are irresponsible pieces of shit that can kill his parents if they see their families during holidays and that no one should leave the house is now saying that having a vaccine passaport is too extreme.

This retaaar argues contradictory points constantly if doing so will give him the opportunity to say how other people are stupid.

That will always be the most stupefying part of DSP to me. The fact that he will boldly claim something he did was incredibly demanding while it's an everyday kind of thing to everyone else. From his taxes to the vidya he plays, Phil worked hard doing them and demands your respect. You wouldn't know because you are not an adult. Other adults do not exist in Phil's streams.
