Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Honestly I don't care if the Taliban comes back into Afghanistan. They forbade the cultivation of poppies for heroin; the floodgates opened once we stepped in. Just look up the Taliban and Afghani poppy fields. That's an ancillary reason other than oil for us to get involved there in the first place. They destroyed blacks with crack, then they came for poor whites with the opioid epidemic.

Tbf the Taliban will probably continue cultivating heroin once we leave. They can probably Crack down on it severely internally, but they got a good taste of how lucrative the trade was when they were fighting us.

Pretty much this. On paper its gonna look like a legit operation farming poppies for opiate production, but realistically they're going to be shoving as much heroin as they can out the backdoor for sweet, sweet, infidel cash.
