When the Sr Pelo/Egoraptor Twitter slapfight happened, it was brought up on the NG BBS, and Tom let it be known that he screens for mentions of Newgrounds on Twitter and how sad and angry he was that Twitter's perception of NG was one of hyper problematic toxic edgy 2000s culture, and how much he wanted to bring their traffic to the site without them hesitating to dip their toes in to a site with a reputation like Newgrounds'. Even saying he would be willing to re-launch the site under a new name if nothing else worked.

During the 2020 race riots, every brand was doing the solemn black background/white text BLM oaths of allegiance on social media. Tom put out his own newspost to show how virtuous he was and some users pointed out how shallow and superficial it seemed when anyone who cared would have to have known Newgrounds was full of different flashes about school shootings, 9/11, hentai, games where you kill celebrities and submissions like Africa Dudes that Tom personally contributed to. One game came up called "
Defend Yourself From Treyvon Martin" where you play as George Zimmerman shooting at an approaching Trayvon Martin, that had been up for 5 years previously with no issue that was immediately
deleted once it was brought to his attention, along with any posts mentioning it.
A reminder that Tom would post the hatemail he got over things like
club a seal and the
assassin games, even getting
airtime on Fox News over the torture game 2. but now he feels the need to scrub the site clean because he's desperate for twitter traffic, he did the same thing for the Tumblr crowd when their site banned porn.

but atleast I can say, that brown lines is better than black. It doesn't look that dirty and more fits colors
