609.205 MANSLAUGHTER IN THE SECOND DEGREE.​

A person who causes the death of another by any of the following means is guilty of manslaughter in the second degree and may be sentenced to imprisonment for not more than ten years or to payment of a fine of not more than $20,000, or both:

(1) by the person's culpable negligence whereby the person creates an unreasonable risk, and consciously takes chances of causing death or great bodily harm to another; or

(2) by shooting another with a firearm or other dangerous weapon as a result of negligently believing the other to be a deer or other animal; or

(3) by setting a spring gun, pit fall, deadfall, snare, or other like dangerous weapon or device; or

(4) by negligently or intentionally permitting any animal, known by the person to have vicious propensities or to have caused great or substantial bodily harm in the past, to run uncontrolled off the owner's premises, or negligently failing to keep it properly confined; or

(5) by committing or attempting to commit a violation of section 609.378 (neglect or endangerment of a child), and murder in the first, second, or third degree is not committed thereby.

If proven by a preponderance of the evidence, it shall be an affirmative defense to criminal liability under clause (4) that the victim provoked the animal to cause the victim's death.

Jacob Blake being martyrized is even worse. Imagine the man who raped you and kidnapped your children being venerated just for being a black man who was shot by police. Imagine BLM implicitly telling you that his black life mattered more than yours.

So the defense for her is going to hinge upon "unreasonable risk."

They have her pretty dead to rights on negligence, but the defense will probably argue that the persuit and attempted escape created an undue burden on her.

That charge is probably going to carry a couple years in prison at most. Which I think is appropriate for that but in the meantime BLM is going to hype this up as another vicious racist murder and set up their cultists for another chimpout when the punishment doesn't seem to fit the crime.

Because every time White people get asked to care about something or discuss something, we get bitched at endlessly and aren't allowed to get in a word edgewise, doubly so if it's a "dialogue" we've been compelled into.

A white person says rap music glorifies violence and drugs when we're supposed to be discussing urban blight, it's racist. A white person discuss whether a new bus route is worth investing in, we're racist. A white man with a washboard abs or a white woman who looks like a supermodel doesn't want to date an obese ratchet ho or hoodlum, we're racist. Hell, a fucking hurricane was racist because it hit New Orleans; yes, Bush was an epic fuck-up, but so was every single official, black or white, democrat or republican, in that disaster. I also don't remember white towns in Mississippi shooting each other just cause or looting TV's. "Racist" is now a car alarm that's been going off for years, yet nothing actually racist seems to be happening. Whites have gone out of our way to make sure nothing racist happens. Hell, the recent shift from equality to equity apparently means we can't even have thing possibly be seen as racist by the people who get two scoops of baby Hitler in their raisin bran every morning.

As for police in particular, where the fuck are we supposed to start? You want police reform. Great, how? What needs changing? Body cams were demanded, we got them, and people bitched because they showed innocent lil angels turning their lives around were the criminals cops said they always were. But since the camera footage made them look bad, the cameras are now racist. This isn't a recent trend either: police were racist for investigating the Tawana Bradley hoax in 1987 and proving that no, she wasn't raped. Was there ever a backlash against the promoters of that mess? Fuck no. I wasn't even fucking born yet, and you've been complaining since then.

I don't care anymore. "Wolf!" has been cried way too much for me to care anymore. Whenever I hear a nonwhite say something about white people, I immediately stop giving a fuck. I'm not a fucking genie to rearrange the world at your whim, fix your own problems.

And honestly the optics are just a lot worse for Chauvin. To the untrained normie eye they see Chauvin as having slowly choked Floyd to death over the course of 8 minutes while just looking really callously casual about it while anyone who isn't a retard or intentionally trying to stoke more racial hatred can look at Potter and see that she just made a grossly negligent mistake.

I never made a call to action so no autistic "in Minecraft" line. I am just advising any lunatic that certain offices have forsworn police assistance and don't believe gun ownership for self defense.

I disagree. After they wanted to arrest him he went back into the car and from that moment anything could have happened.
He could have grabbed a weapon and shoot at the police officers, he could have tried to run over the cops, ... so imo deadly force was justified.

The only mistake she made was mentioning her mistake while the bodycam was on.
