They have decentralized groups of activists which hang out in their drug den group homes and call up other groups they know through a friend when they need “direct action”. They’re not like the right that openly plan things on Facebook or discord where it’s easy to infiltrate. Also think of these protests as less “protests” and more of a recruitment opportunity.

It's a vicious cycle:

Black people are taught that complying with cops means you will be killed because all cops are racist, so they often resist arrest.

This often leads to officers killing a black person who's resisting arrest because the suspect is a potential danger, or a fuck up on the officer's part that wouldn't have happened if the suspect complied.

This leads to riots and looting that causes the local government to lower the police budget to comply with the demands of the mob.

This leads to more poorly trained officers, as the department no longer has the budget to train them adequately.

The black community also still believes they will be murdered if they comply, so many continue to resist arrest.

This leads to more police officers using lethal force or fucking up, killing black people resisting arrest.

And so on.

The solutions are:

A. Higher budget for training and equipping police officers to deal with resisting suspects

B. Convince the black community that complying gives you a higher survival rate than resisting

Neither of these will happen, so this'll keep happening until it's no longer a trendy issue and is replaced by something else.

Still using old hummers and cab-forward trucks that are highly vulnerable to mines and IEDs. It's only a matter of time before these "freedom fighters" realise that they can attack that vulnerability.

That said, given how effective their larps have been up to now, I expect any explosives they try and improvise will take them out before they get anywhere near a national guard convoy. They are cargo-cultists of the highest order, simulating the actions of other revolutions and protest movements and expecting it all to just work, without understanding why those things are done.

Case in point. The HK protestors use umbrellas to fend off long-distance shells and hide their identities from the police. They'd figured out how to create a phalanx, interlocking their umbrellas and making them fairly effective at deflecting low-power projectiles. These people are using them as individual shields against higher velocity less-lethals and acting surprised when it doesn't work, because they don't understand why they're doing it.

Portland & Seattle antifa for example announce openly when they plan an 'event'
They won't call openly for violence/to riot but if they mention 'no cameras allowed & show up in black' then you'll know what they mean...
