While I think seeing his whiny persistent plight attempts to get what he wants from her would be hilarious, it would be short lived. Sam doesn't have that social conditioning to "be nice" that many women have, or if she did, she killed it because muh feminism. She is as mercenary as he is only in a different direction, and has zero patience for anyone not following her agenda. She will steer the discussion her way a few times, Russ will keep blundering on with plights and subtle invitations to stay on his couch, she will rebuff him a few times, get rude at him once, then ghost.
It will probably look like they are having 2 separate conversations. Because they are. They are both starring in 2 very different movies.
He's in some John Hughes legal drama/romance/underdog/ musical, and she's in some worse variant of the handmaid's tale.
