Washington DC is the only city that I have personally been to in which I would make damn sure to never go near it ever again. That city is a den of snakes; I got the creepiest vibes from the place.

Even worse, his name being on a low-income hospital that has horror stories for poor care in Compton.

Nah, DC has gentrified a lot. BLM plaza is surrounded by high six to seven figure condos and multi-million dollar rowhouses, not public housing. The ghetto in DC is in the South East, on the other side of the Anacostia River.
