Stated way back in the other thread that I suspected a split verdict in the end. I'm honestly surprised by this; setting aside the wider bullshit politics involved I can imagine how the average person could find that the officers' actions played a part in the outcome, but the metric assload of drugs in Floyd's system were probably a factor too. Hmm. People are strange sometimes.

Also, how can he be guilty of murder 2, 3 and manslaughter all at the same time? Are there any lawyer kiwis who could explain how that works, or is the jury just being retarded?
