I'm never going to be able to shake the idea that the outcome of this case was heavily influenced by outside influence rather than an actual fair trial. I am not saying Chauvin should have been found innocent on all accounts, but I can't see the fear of riots and violence not playing a role in the outcome. This is concerning because obviously the legal system was built to avoid this but this could open the flood gates where public opinion and outcry can influence more cases, and all those people currently crying out "justice" are actually killing it.
