How long did you stay in the hospital? I don't see any IV scars on your hands. Minor power-level, but I've had a few surgeries myself, and since they always put the IV into one of my hands, I have tiny scars from where they put it in. Keep in mind, I was never in the hospital long, and I still have marks, but you don't seem to have any.

I guess they could've put it in your arm given your circumstance, but that's generally not what they do, at least not in the hospitals I go to. I don't know, things might be different in Indiana.

I've got IV scars further up my arm but those have most healed. I stayed in the hospital for about three months altogether, and then hands were in casts for about six months. I couldn't write or do anything with my hands for basically the entire time.
