My hands are fairly normal. They're a little fucked up in the thumbs but they look fine to me. I have nothing but scars anywhere else and those have all healed quickly.

True, but if he was in there as long as he says he was there would have to be at least some marks present. Keep in mind, they don't use the same IV forever. They switch hands, or arms in this case, after a few days. Even if one IV left no marks, at least one certainly would. Even if they were barely noticeable, they would still be there.

The reason for the fucked up thumb is due to an accident I was in about six years ago. Left a gnarly scar. Had to get it double jointed for some reason to save it.

Other hand is fairly normal, but I broke my thumb horribly on this hand. Instead of double jointing it like they did the other, they fused it into a single joint. You can see the surgical scars. Same thing happened with the split here, but it wasn't nearly as severe.
