It is hard to feel bad for Kevin. He’s gone off the deep end and I don’t think anyone can help him at this point, but he really wasn’t always like this.
Kevin was prone to spergouts/meltdowns but never to the levels of insanity and delusion as the ones after meeting Lori. He’s always been immature and an idiot, but Lori exasperated it all to new heights. He’s insufferable now. He’s turned into a mini-Lori. 27 year old man has completely regressed to being 16 again and living off pure emotion and narcissism. Kind of like how Lori is, hmmm.
Before her he at least had passion and creativity in his life and a drive to do the things he enjoyed. The best way I can describe Kevin pre-Lori is honestly just autistic weeaboo lmao. He was nerdy and awkward, but genuine. He was a functional adult with creative hobbies. He had a solid friend and support group and wasn’t completely insufferable to hang out with. Kevin looked his healthiest and seemed truly happy when he was churning out cosplays of characters he loves and going to cons.
And like many others, I also had no idea about Lori until Kevin had those huge mental breakdowns on Facebook when they first started dating. So yeah, he’s directly responsible for Lori’s reemergence.
Kevin is still trying to half heartedly promote Lori on Reddit, posting her pics once every few weeks or so.

Kevin is the longest relationship she has had to my knowledge and that is because she is no longer seen as a great catch or an enhancement to a relationship and from the looks of it sex is no longer an option if she can’t even fuck her own man. I went ahead and read some of his English writing pieces. All of them read like online journal posts that just drag on and on because he never established a true thesis. My favorite is his ENG 1010 paper about Rhetorical Analysis where he mentions nothing about the "toumin schema" until 5 paragraphs (more than halfway through) in and gives no explanation of what it is with no mention of it prior. His writing style leads with the point he's trying to make first (which can create confusion for the reader), and then goes into grossly over-exaggerated descriptions of his point.
How Kevin has articulated within his writing assignments is pretty par for the course for 1st or 2nd year college students. It just reads as though he speed wrote it and gave it one quick glance before submitting it.
Imagine using your time and effort training to become an English professor and then spending your career marking shit like that. Kevin turned in a paper about how much he loves cartoons with all the intellect of a 7th grader, and even kindly included a picture of himself
