It's a good thing that she very recently evolved into being non-spiteful, non-angry, and people-loving. If that regular old "I do what I want" Oppositional Defiant Disorder Chantal were here she'd probably have a hard time taking the disagreement and rejection of nearly all of her mods and audience.

ETA: I suggest you watch this stream (on 2x of course), even if you don't usually watch her streams. Seeing the mental gymnastics in real time is fascinating. Her ability to dodge the observations of the chat and convince herself otherwise is crazy. She's literally excusing severely controlling/abusive behavior as, "It's okay guys, because he's so into me."
She desperately tries to reconcile the fact that Nick stood her up twice and blocked her with her imaginary relationship in her mind. She actually says, "The guy I met in the car is so different from the guy I'm talking to now." Absolutely zero understanding that she created car Nick in her mind, built up their relationship, manufactured the feelings she has for him, that none of it is real. She is convinced that if she just gets into his apartment that "everything will be perfect".
My theory is that she's latched on to him so heavily because he's the only one who actually saw her body in real life and was okay with it. (Okay as in repeatedly standing her up afterwards and stringing her along for a few days before blocking her.)
