Are you getting the vaccine? - Absolute trashfire thread, please enter with caution

At this point? Likely not.

Earlier, I wanted to wait and see if something bad would come from these new vaccines. I was already skeptical of them because of how they'd been rushed out there, and now that I've seen and heard stories about people having blood clots (several countries have pulled the J&J vaccine because of this) and other bad side effects thanks to things like news outlets talking about this and other screenshots of people talking about side effects they've experienced being shared in the Coronavirus megathread, I'm leaning more towards the "not getting it" camp. I think it should be noted that I have a 99% survival rate if I catch covid. Negrate me all you want, I don't care.
There's a 1 in a million chance of getting a clot from the vaccine and there's a way higher risk of a blood clot from covid

I'm not getting the vaccine but not because I'm anti-vax or anything. I'm just passing on it to spite neoliberals. I also don't believe covid is a serious virus. I know my body can fight off minor viruses like covid and the seasonal flu. I never get a shot for the latter so I'm not getting one for the former either.

Got my first one today. I was supposed to get it in Feb, but I wanted to speak to my Dr first and they kept cancelling my telephone appts so only managed to get hold of her a couple of weeks ago.

I've had some concerns anyway because of a couple of health issues, and today I read that thread about the study done in Israel, where they're investigating whether the Pfizer vaccine triggers shingles in people with rheumatoid arthritis. I fall bang in that demographic, so could have done without reading that 4 hrs before my appt!

So far so good tho, I've got more done today than I have in weeks...it seems to have given me a right burst of energy! If I can swerve feeling like shit for the next 48hrs, I'd have the fucker weekly 😁

What's the chance for people with autoimmune diseases like lupus and rheumatoid arthritis? Those increase the risk of getting a blood clot. I know they increase the chances of getting severe symptoms from covid as well. Just curious since one in a million is for people with non-suicidal immune systems.

from what ive read, it's only happened in women taking birth control

I'm not really a fan of any kind of medical science, I look around and everyone's fat and ugly. Poor diet, driving everywhere. What's the point in keeping this going? We need the opposite, we need eugenics.
Perhaps the string pullers feel the same way, and anyone who's getting the jab is going to be sorely regretting it in the near future. Sterilizing themselves. I think of the movie "Children of Men" how they were just rubbing our faces in it.
Anyway my plan is to move somewhere remote in north africa where life is cheaper and people are less faggy from decades of talmudvision.

I took the Pfizer the other day due to familial and work reasons. Nothing but some inflammation in the body I could feel.

Im probably not gonna take another jab like they tell you. I don’t believe in the vaxx/anti-vaxx crap of “it’s totally gonna gene cure you” or “‘muh prion death saline” because I just think seems like it’s just a shittily rushed vaccine from Big pharma to profit off of, but I also worry of any long term effects and reading literally everything gives you nothing but more paranoia.

I’m going to wait and see until it at least seems more convincing, I already put some shit in my body so I might as well not put anymore if it completely fucks you up.

Lack of longitudinal studies and mRNA fuckery is just icing on the cake. I wouldn't take a needle full of sugar water to play along with the swollen amygdala fantasy minstrel show that is this eminently survivable cold. Covid doomers can come down from their self-righteous hysteria, I'm not meeting the demands of these purse-clutching Kathies.

Thread makes me glad I was on the early list. It's like watching people jump into a polio pool, for over a year now, to try to prove something.

@Agent Abe Caprine it looks like women more likely to clot, possibly same reasons hormonal birth control causes clotting. not sure yet but it's one in a million on j&j, less so on the others.

Lmfao at all the anti-vaxxers outing themselves as NEETs with no social life :story: :story: :story: :story:

I'll be fully vaxxed in a couple days, already planned to go meet up in groups and go downtown.
Just remember, there's no vaccine for AIDS yet so when you pick up some boys at the gay bar you should still use protection.

It is a little strange that there are so many people who believe your a scum fuck degenerate if you don't take the vaccine and people who think anyone who takes the vaccine is just a lamb to the slaughter. I understand the hesitation around the vaccines so I don't begrudge anyone for not taking it, but I don't get the autistic screeching at each other for what amounts to personal decisions.

No,not really. It's not like i can either, because Canada's only giving them out to the dust piles and half-skeletons known as old people. For now,at least.
