If they remain protests, whatever. I don't think the verdict was in any way appropriate or commensurate with what happened, but Chauvin will appeal and I think he has very good odds on appeal.

I'm goddamn sick of the "we're just protesting" turning into riots and destruction of property. Given how protesters tend to litter like crazy and clog up crap for pretty much everybody BUT the target of their protest I already dislike protests, but it's an enumerated right.

Most likely not. Fat people are more resistant to tasers, as it targets muscles. If they were a body builder or a skinny person, the taser would shut them down immediately. They would have most likely shrugged off the taser bolts easily

We saw this with the cop shooting in Nashville a couple of weeks back. Cop tased obese lady perp, she was still able to shoot him and drive off.

Correct, that would just be regular murder, if the jury believes that you intended to kill or cause GBH, or should have reasonably known that your actions would result in the same. Intent to kill is what separates regular murder from manslaughter, except in this case, intent wasn't a factor. Minnesota is unique insofar as they can convict for felony murder any time they can prove manslaughter because of the lack of the merger rule.

That would be a good example. There is some element of proximate cause to test (ie if someone is walking by, slips on ice outside and dies without even knowing you're robbing the store, then you're not liable for it), but I don't want to over complicate things.

Powerlevel moment, I have been in this exact scenario at school growing up where some BLACK kid sneaks a knife in despite metal detectors at the entrance and whoops he stabs a kid now we have to put the school on lockdown and call the cops! So much for practicing for the state tests the next day!
Teachers don't fucking break that shit up, they aren't PAID enough to deal with insane niglets daily. They don't risk death, they do the smart thing and call the police.

Former public school teacher here: Teachers don't intervene because in my district they are very explicit about not calling police, letting the district handle it "internally," and not depriving Jamal, Boosie, and Dayquan of an education by kicking them out of class or school. Teachers are also fully liable if they break up a fight, call da poleeece, or do anything to bring order in the classroom.

There was a teacher in one of the high schools in my district several years ago who was attacked by Darnell with a weapon. She called the police, promptly got fired and smeared in the local paper. A local watch group filed a FOIA because she could not get another teaching position because the sheboon stupidintendent made DAMN SURE that this white woman was not going to find a job again. Luckily the FOIA went through, and after a bunch of drama, she was hired by a district in a different city. Administration HATES teachers and does not back them up regarding discipline and classroom management.

At this point, white people need to get it in their heads that shunning and silence should be the only way to deal with male and female 'drills. If one enters a room, whites need to get up and leave. The only way to win this game is not to play.
