Begging will be turned up to 11. Possibly more crying on stream for sympathy tips. It wouldn't surprise me to see him go bipolar during his future streams until twitch caves. Moreso than usual.I'm only an occasional Phil follower. Assuming this ban sticks, how screwed is Phil, realistically?
Also, what's the thing about not talking about bits in relation to money? They're not allowed to say how much of a cut Twitch gets compared to the streamer? Is this some "they're not funbux because Jeff Bezos says they're not" type of thing?
A man who shrugged off the scorn of the internet and the IRS being defeated because he refused to bend a knee for George Floyd's death is a fresh, new kind of existential horror. That seems highly plausible. These are dangerous times for free thought and speech. Not a fan of DSP by any means, but it would suck for all of us if this was the reason he got shit canned.
Good to see the rest of the twitter users also have no faith in this sticking.I'm officially placing my bet: this will be reversed within 48 hours. Anyone dare to go lower?
Cockroaches are very durable creatures after all.Incoming: DSP outlasts Twitch
it's DSP, if anything being on the internet has taught me is that shit people can fail upwards from time to time, he's one example, his whales will try to sustain him however they can and since he lost his twitch income he will look for other ways and no doubt will recieve tips from his followers.what the fuck are you talking about? his point was that Phil is intelligent and a *good* con artist. My point is that he is neither. The man is equating being successful at something as being good at it.
because i'm sure no one here can name anyone that they know personally who is successful while being shit at their job, right?
he is already begging, lol.Begging will be turned up to 11. Possibly more crying on stream for sympathy tips. It wouldn't surprise me to see him go bipolar during his future streams until twitch caves. Moreso than usual.
extremely possible however, can't "companies do what they want" sthick?A man who shrugged off the scorn of the internet and the IRS being defeated because he refused to bend a knee for George Floyd's death is a fresh, new kind of existential horror.
About the bits, Twitch has a not insignificant amount of underage customers. Defining them as not-funbux would be troublesome. Encouraging cheer wars is fun and positive. Encouraging alternate twitch currency wars is scummy and greedy, not to mention a lot of 13 year olds trying to outbid each other in a battle for Thot Du Jour's attention is... Well, a little conflictive, to say the least. Cheers magically take away that problem, just like how lootboxes are totally absolutely most definitely NOT inducting children into gambling because we SAY THEY'RE NOT, THEY HAVE NO REAL MONETARY VALUE, AND PROVIDE NO POSSIBLE PAYOFF, so you can shut yer cakehole, lawmakers, thanks.I'm only an occasional Phil follower. Assuming this ban sticks, how screwed is Phil, realistically?

In a sense. Terms of Service and similar user contracts don't have a very good track record in court. I'm not sure how exactly Phil could sue Twitch, but considering we just saw a police officer convicted of voluntary and involuntary murder at the same time I wouldn't put my faith in the U.S. legal system in any way whatsoever.extremely possible however, can't "companies do what they want" sthick?
i really wasn't paying attention to floyd's trial (not-murica) but it's interesting to see how fucked up the law system in borgarland is, shit, even russia is less retarded than that.considering we just saw a police officer convicted of voluntary and involuntary murder at the same time I wouldn't put my faith in the U.S. legal system in any way whatsoever.
wasn't disclosed yet but he has his mouth shut about it. only theorization from fans and /v/So, jumped in late, but has he said/lied about why he lost partnership?
Not going to sidetrack this thread too far, but the long and short is that the charges were inclusive, meaning that the jury decided whether the legal criteria for each were met for each, starting from least severe (the manslaughter charge) to most severe (the 2nd degree murder charge). In most states, only the highest charge for which the criteria were met would be the "guilty" charge. For some reason, Minnesota has it set up such that all can be found as "guilty", but the person is only charged based on the most severe.I'm not sure how exactly Phil could sue Twitch, but considering we just saw a police officer convicted of voluntary and involuntary murder at the same time I wouldn't put my faith in the U.S. legal system in any way whatsoever.
twitch is as far left as it gets with streaming platforms. It would not be surprising. That seems highly plausible. These are dangerous times for free thought and speech. Not a fan of DSP by any means, but it would suck for all of us if this was the reason he got shit canned.
I'm expecting it to come back in 24-48 hours. Pigroach law dictates that Phil must always remain in limbo.i really wasn't paying attention to floyd's trial (not-murica) but it's interesting to see how fucked up the law system in borgarland is, shit, even russia is less retarded than that.

I believe it would be considered selling a security. My impression is that there is an actual legal reason for it. Something like federal wire laws between states.
I don't think it's a pure Twitch decision.
We know how that turned out last time"some people are speculating if i turn the stream off i'll be banned"
imagine if he just never fucking turned it off.
Well, if she was still there. The only reason Khet would be crying is if she just now realized what a loser she married.
