TERF used to stand for "Trans Exclusionatory Radical Feminist", as in, a radical feminist who wanted men to be labeled as second class citizens like how women were for the longest time. Radfems hate men and are batshit. However, troons don't hate radfems as long as thry get to be in the girl group of power, oppressing and possibly sissyfiying the second class cis bastards out there (and transmen if they remember those exist). No, they just hated any radfem who wouldn't say their girldick wasn't a ladydick.

Over time, it evolved from "man hating woman who hates trans identifying people" to "a woman who disagrees with me" thanks to troons calling any woman that doesn't obey the girlcock TERF. Cis men don't get the same treatment since they bully back, usually hard (and more troons hate cis women for reasons covered earlier in the thread). Thus, a new TERF was formed: the terf, any woman who is trans critical in any way. This new category now includes every cis woman who won't tow a twitter, reddit, or discord circlejerk's party line. This can be as mild as a cis woman saying say that a troon is biologically male (reee I'm a bio girl don't disqualify meeee) to saying someone needs to put more effort into presenting female to you never will be a girl and so on. A lot of kiwis in this thread are this kind of terf and treat men as equals (hell some even marry them).

Basically I feel you OP, and I feel like Terf really has lost its original meaning. When all women are terfs, no one is.

A woman, to this type of shlubby man, is just a non-man who gets to laze around and be taken care of by men. That's what they want. They want to be their normal sit-on-the-couch-and-masturbate selves but also have someone else provide for them financially, emotionally, sexually, etc.

Yes, TERFs/ “Radfems“ (4th wave) and Radical Feminists (2nd wave) are different, though they have some overlapping ideologies. (Correct me if I’m wrong about the waves.)

Though I wouldn’t call them all batshit. I’d hate my oppressors too, if there was no foreseeable end in sight. I’ve noticed that the more aware someone is of the acts of oppression around them, the more they pick up on the even the most subtle signs. It easily wanes patience. As for being kinder to FtMs, I maybe started out that way, but actually, some of the most influential, most misogynistic activists at the top of various orgs are female (Stephen Whittle, Strange Chasio, James Morton of the Scottish Troons Alliance etc plus female troons are often the Trojan horses used to push through legislation eg Gavin Grimm) so they’ve used up the dribble of sympathy I once had. I wouldn't say that's so much true. Many women, TERFs included, have male family members and/ or friends that they truly care about. It's not so much associating with or loving men as much as it is condoning oppressive behavior from those men.

I find it funny that TRAs tend to completely ignore black women like Karen. I would think one of their major targets would be Lipstick Alley (shit-post forum for black women), but nope. I feel like you're over-complicating it as an excuse to dunk on 'muh female privilege'.

TIFs catch less shit because it's much easier for the average woman to pass as an androgynous manlet than it is for the average man to pass as a bolt-on bimbo, especially when the latter tend to dress like Vegas prostitutes whereas from what I've seen most TIFs just dress like normal guys or butch lesbians.

I think both are mentally ill, but TIFs only elicit pity from me, whereas I find TIMs physically repulsive because they're essentially doing female blackface without the (intentional) comedy.

Being conventionally attractive takes a lot of effort, but I do think the majority of thin women are at least okay looking, even without makeup. Whereas men, as we’ve discussed on here before, are more likely to be at the outliers of any given scale than in the middle, including attractiveness. Autistic men are also more likely to have minor physical abnormalities (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minor_physical_anomalies) and I know we’ve had MTFs on here who clearly had other facially disfiguring genetic conditions. If a given ugly MTF had been born female he would’ve been more attractive.
