Nah it's because they don't like hanging out with black people. There are a couple black (gay) troons posting to LA but they have no jannies on their side so they get nowhere. The mod team is 100% angry black women so good luck making inroads there suckers! I read LA for the gossip sometimes. Also they hated BLM before it was cool.

As for being kinder to FtMs, I maybe started out that way, but actually, some of the most influential, most misogynistic activists at the top of various orgs are female (Stephen Whittle, Strange Chasio, James Morton of the Scottish Troons Alliance etc plus female troons are often the Trojan horses used to push through legislation eg Gavin Grimm) so they’ve used up the dribble of sympathy I once had. Even the trans YouTuber who gets my hackles up quickest is female, ‘Jammidodger’ aka Jamie Raines.

I just post fewer ladytroons because they don’t make for such funny/repulsive images.

Nowadays I save any remaining crumbs of compassion for the (male or female) children/adolescents/younger adults who get groomed into early surgery and the ones whose cross sex identities are the result of extreme trauma (like the little girl who witnessed her mam’s murder and wanted to be a boy, because a boy might’ve been strong enough to save her mum).

I’m a janny (I know) for a Christian humor Facebook group where we have very few rules, but one day someone posted something transphobic and one of the tranny jannies melted down and started banning anyone who laugh reacted it, and then the other tranny janny later started kicking people out too. Certain people have always been on the troon train and the people who're trying to leverage against their spouses (or families) will go through the efforts to find a therapist (or other organization) that will back up their beliefs. It's like the Canadian father whose in jail over trying to fight the system saying his daughter is his son, the child was sent to a LGBT friendly councilor/therapist who is obviously not going to question.

I personally know a young troon vaguely, via their mother, whose family was also questioning their sudden onset and sent her to an LGBT friendly summer camp to see if she really being serious. Obviously the camp only confirmed she was! they're not going to be serious about sitting her down and having a proper conversation as well as exploring her other mental health issues because it's beneficial for them to support and affirm.

If someone says they're experienced in dealing with LGBT issues it should be a huge red flag to not deal with them as that usually translates too; I am LGBT friendly and supportive of their causes and will not make a good faith effort to explore the actual issues this person is grappling with. Especially when it comes to the T. Even more especially so when it comes to kids.

The woman "Ruth" was actually not an accredited mental health worker of any kind. She was just some lady who knew a bunch of troons.

This was the mid to late 90s. A very different world than what we are living today. Think Less Reddit and More Susans Place. They were ok being called "gurls", "trannys, "She-males" and tgirls.

Back then you had transsexuals - mostly the HSTS types pretty much exclusively into dudes and they never seemed to take issue fucking chasers and making them their sugar daddies. They were very rare - I long for the days of Maury Povich Spot the tranny man or woman contests. Springer was also a good place for early troons (Esp Black Ones)

In the early 2000s there was something you could call the trans umbrella. In this umbrella existed transsexuals, transvestites, and cross dressers.
The cross dressers were the original AGPs. Being from the nerd community I made the parallel that cross dressers (Who also go to "gender" conventions - First Event, Phantasia Fair, Southern Comfort) were basically shittily cosplaying women. The cross dressers were all straight and predominantly white men who had interests like fixing cars, sports, tech, and many were living the lives of men with wives kids etc. Check the link for a youtube vid from Magdalen Berns - this woman used to go to these gender cons and it was the AGP crossdressers who would hire her.

The cross dressers are the ones that lived the fetish the AGP fantasy of creating a female self that they could style with things most women would NOT wear. It used to be that there was a clear line drawn in the sand between the AGP cross dressers and the HSTS transsexuals. At the cons, the AGPs would have the $$$ to buy the $300 plus weekend tickets for the events. The HSTS could attend for free and meet with surgeons resources (Which were MUCH more limited then) SRS was like 30K out of pocket. Most troons just got some titties or FFS. Insurance funding this stuff was unheard of and most were DIY. You couldn't find a gender therapist or a PCP who could prescribe HRT- this was so rare that basically anyone in a 5 state radius could only be seen at 1 clinic in a major city. You needed to live as the opposite sex for at least a year as well as attain letters from a multitude of therapists and doctors. Some states wouldn't change gender markers without SRS. Passports and birth certificates could not be changed.

Somehow there is no longer a distinction between troons and cross dressers. Slowly, the cross dressers integrated with the troons and somehow this movement which has been so small suddenly had all of this money and power behind it. Me thinks that these wealthy AGPs were no longer satisfied to live the fetish on the weekends or in closed bedrooms while the wife and kids were away. I mean.. its not the HSTS making all this noise....
