I think the prosecution made no attempts to seriously fight for a conviction and they thought it would be a slam dunk. I guess that gave people hope he would get acquitted till Maxine Waters flew all the way from DC to make sure the plebs in flyover land of a 1000 polluted lakes voted right.

Well, they were right. Despite the prosecution doing a completely ass job, they managed to convict him of three contradictory kinds of murder. Chauvin apparently accidentally killed Floyd on purpose while assaulting him with no intention of harming him. Sounds legit.

The appeals court might not agree on that, but they're probably going to uphold at least one of these. Only if the only count they leave standing is the manslaughter and Noor gets overturned does he have a chance other than throwing out the entire trial.

A reversible error finding on any of the many denied mistrial motions is the best possible outcome. The likelihood is debatable.

Believe they were an alternate but they did replace 2 cause the city in it's infinite wisdom settled for 27mil with Floyd's family while the trial was underway upsetting 2 jurors. Can they use this in appeals? I thought for appeals they couldn't introduce new stuff. This should be grounds for a mistrial.
