This is mainly because of the 2014-2015 phenomenon of woker-than-thou artists pushing for more diversity, actually. Bigger artists during that time talked a lot about how people should draw more diverse character, especially black ones, and it was easy as just "colouring the characters" a different colour (because it's only the skintone that dictates your race, not your hair type or eye shape or eyelids or anything). I don't know if Tumblr posts of that nature still exist, but I remember those floating around sometimes. So, it's not that surprising that a lot of artists, like Destiny, do that exact same thing.Hm. So have she ever met a black person? Have she seen anyone with a darker skin tone in person? Because idk what's with SJW artists and drawing black people- but they end up drawing them as if they're a white person with dark skin. Only adding "pronounced" lips and lighter palms.
I'm not black but even I know there are physical differences when it comes to darker skin. They are minor but they still exist. They stand out. Just like how someone who is considered white is different than someone who is Asain, despite the light skin tone. It makes who we are. HAES fags wanna say "oh but dogs have different bodies and so do humans!" as if we are dogs. No, we may not have vastly different body types like dogs do but we do have slightly different body characteristics that align with our different genetics- and there's no gene that makes us born morbidly obese. However, there are genes that are attributed to our different racial backgrounds.
I see people draw dark-skinned as if they are drawing a white person and idk, it's a pet peeves of mine because it's always these "woke" bitches who try do hard to be "diverse" and yet they seemingly don't care about how different body structures work- especially when you are a different race. No race all look the same but there are defining features.
EDIT: Also, I don't think Muslims are that dRk?
