Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

There is no language in the constitution about thresholds, Article IV, Section 3, Clause 1: simply states that

"New States may be admitted by the Congress into this Union; but no new State shall be formed or erected within the Jurisdiction of any other State; nor any State be formed by the Junction of two or more States, or Parts of States, without the Consent of the Legislatures of the States concerned as well as of the Congress"

After receiving a written state constitution that was acceptable to both the proposed state and congress, a joint resolution needing only a simple majority in both chambers was needed for previous states to be created.

Lin Wood and Sydney Powell could turn out to be the Joe McCarthys of our era: seem like paranoid nutcases at the time, but end up entirely vindicated by history.

Isn't the DNC's war chest essentially hollowed-out at this point? I seem to remember reading somewhere that they were hurting for funds after Obama's years and Clinton's loss.

Wasnt BLMs donation money funneled directly into them through Act Blue? I mean, what has the organization done other than suck up funds and buy mansions? It makes sense that most of it went to the DNC since they were hella broke at the time.

It went to pay off loan debts. The DNC was hilariously underwater for the longest time.
