"Darnella Frazier, the brave young woman who filmed the murder of George Floyd, deserves peace and healing. In addition to the trauma of watching a black man be murdered by police, she has had to deal with trolls, bullies and ignorant people harassing her online. It took unbelievable courage for her to stand there and bear witness to such an awful tragedy. We all have our roles to play in the revolution against white supremacy. Darnella played an important one and should be uplifted, not shamed.
Something broke. This country will never be the same. And in the midst of our rage and pain, we cannot let this young black woman become a casualty.
George Floyd paid the ultimate price of being black in this country. But let us not forget that a CHILD had to be the eyes for this nation. A CHILD paid the price of her innocence, her well-being, her hope, so that white people would start to wake the f-$& up. And people are going out of their way to break her spirit?!

White folks: You woke now? Stay woke. You mad? Stay mad. You care about Black Lives? Well we finna care about Darnella, too.
You can’t put a price on a child’s spirit. This fund is to support the healing and the restoration of hope for Darnella Frazier —whatever that means to her. There are many places in the movement where your resources are needed. This is one of them. Thank you.

...what do you mean? Multiple black folk have been murdered by police this month - two since the Chauvin verdict, a fellow in North Carolina aside from the Makiyah Bryant girl; they've certainly staged protests, miniature flash mobs and everything else but they simply don't have the energy or support they did last year, lol.

It's not that police aren't still shooting black people, what the fuck are you talking about? Even every single one of their community leaders is still echoing the fact that multiple black folk have been shot by police since the Chauvin verdict - it's just that the country has a much more muted response to their outrage and bitching now.

The rioters don't give a shit about black people, and neither do the protesters, and neither do any of the left. The moment a black person, or gay, or a woman, or a trans, or anyone else, becomes the slightest bit inconvenient to them they'll tear into that person same as anyone else. The rioters didn't give a shit about someone's skin color when they murdered them, or burned down their livelihoods, or destroyed their memorials.

Just wait until summer. There may not be any riots specifically regarding the trial, but the cycle will repeat itself when some black criminal gets shot during more favorable weather.

I doubt the riots will be as bad as they were last year. That's a once per decade kind of chimp out. It will never really stop though.
