Again, it depends on what you consider "fairly easy." To expand on my earlier post, he'll have to fight for it: Fai is probably going to get a family attorney, who is going to present the court with Ralph's history of substance abuse and violence including a felony against a cop. The attorney is going to use every text and message between Ralph, Fai, and Pantsu where they are trying to manipulate her into a midget-horse-teenager threesome, every stream where Ralph gets sauced AF on his show, and most recently, his dumb ass trip to the Digi-hovel and the retarded bitch-fight he instigated. In short, the attorney is going to throw down a mountain of evidence that shows Ralph is a clear and present danger to a child. If Ralph wants to fight, he's going to have to get his own Family Attorney, one who can practice CA law, and prove that he is not dangerous. IMO, at best, he can only get supervised visitation. Of course, this is assuming that her attorney doesn't produce the evidence of Ralph's role in the revenge porn to the court, which would be the smartest move, because then if Ralph decides to fight, he'd have to answer questions about it under oath (free advice, Vickers, you retard...you can thank me later).
But, even if he gets supervised visitation (yes, even crack heads get to see they bay-bays), he's going to have to do the things that are ordered of him by the court, and the visitation is going to have to happen in CA. No CA family court is going to make a young mother fly across the country to take the kid for visitation. Almost certainly, there is going to be a child support order UNLESS Ralph AND the court agrees to a termination of parental rights. If I understand correctly, the termination of parental rights terminates any parental obligations with those rights, so he won't have to pay child support, but he won't have anything to do with the kid ever again.
In CA, Ralph is absolutely going to get RAPED with child support. He's going to have to show the courts that he doesn't make much money, and of course the attorney is going to show all the shit that the Kiwi's have archived where he lists his income on official docs as $70,000 per year as a internet talk show host (or some shit like that). Either way, he'll be hammered with a payment that he can't afford. If he doesn't make the payment, he'll lose any visitation agreements that the court establishes. The irony, as I see it, is that if he somehow DOES make the payments (which, lets face it, he'll not only have to do to keep visitation but also avoid other legal consequences), then he'll have to afford regular flights and lodging in CA which he probably won't be able to afford because the child support will have him drained.
From a strictly "control-of-child" standpoint, this is a difficult situation for Fai to lose. But as you said, Ralph probably won't bother. So, the Million Maker's Mark question is: if you are Fai, knowing that Ralph can't/won't pay child support, do you give him the "out" and allow him to escape any fiscal responsibility for his kid so that you don't have to ever deal with him again? Or, do you go for the big hurt, and punish him as much as possible being fairly confident that he won't be able to come around his kid anyway.
If it were me, I would opt for choice number one. But, if Vickers has her ear, being the lunatic that he is, he's probably pushing for the big hurt.
EDIT: Federal Criminal Laws of child support may come into play here. 1 year or $5k in arrears is a misdemeanor, $10k or 2 years becomes a felony. That alone is probably enough for Ralph to not risk the trouble.

Matthew Vickers basically has no real recourse against Ethan Ralph, Chris Kerr, or anyone else involved in this clusterfuck, and I am sure that really kills him inside. It's why he continues to impotently threaten some vague action without ever being able to follow through or even meaningfully damage his targets. Matthew Vickers is an Internet Tough Guy Dad in a similar vein to Jessi Slaughter's dad. Truly, consequences will never be the same.
Ironically, being the complete dipshit that he is, Vickers is almost certainly committing the civil tort of cyber piracy in California by registering the legal names of his targets. As it turns out, you cannot just register a domain name in the State of California bearing the legal name of another person just because you want to fuck with them. Whoops. The relevant statute is: Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 17525.
(a) It is unlawful for a person, with a bad faith intent, to register, traffic in, or use a domain or subdomain name that is identical or confusingly similar to, because of, among other things, misspelling of the domain or subdomain name, either of the following:
(1) The personal name of another living person or deceased personality, without regard to the goods or services of the parties.
(f) A person who registers, traffics in, or uses a domain or subdomain name in violation of paragraph (1) or (2) of subdivision (a) without the consent described in paragraph (2) of subdivision (b) is presumed to have done so with a bad faith intent. This presumption is a presumption affecting the burden of proof.

Not that anyone's name he's claimed has the funds or would bother suing him over something like this, but I am eagerly awaiting for Vickers to bumble into committing more severe legal infractions. We've already seen him potentially attempt to blackmail Chris Kerr into returning, so I look forward to him ratcheting up the intensity as he becomes more frustrated.

What I find most interesting about this is that prior to July 2020, Vickers didn't know who Ralph was. So allllll that shit before has nothing to do with Ralph at all. I see an obsessive compulsive entrepreneur type, where every time he gets a new idea, he buys a fucking domain name. I mean, I guess if you have the money, why not, but Jesus Christ.
Personally, I find it hilarious that Ralph couldn't rub two nickels together to buy his own name...isn't that like "Being Famous 101?"

Vickers has eluded in the past that he has wanted Ralph to sue him (I think during his gay twitter war). Testimony from depositions in civil suits is still under oath, and could be used as evidence in criminal court. If he parks the sites and doesn't actually post anything to them, no one will be able to claim damages, they can just (if I understand correctly, and I honestly have no idea if I'm right) force him to turn over the domain names. If he posts, as he threatened, a bunch of stuff about Kerr on the Kerr name domain, he could be liable for damages.
And as retarded as I think Vickers is, I have to consider that 1) we know he reads the farms. 2) he knows that no one here really likes him, and some outright hate him. 3) he hasn't said jack shit for months.
This leads me to think that there was a reason for the new break in silence. He nuked the site again. Maybe something has changed, and he sees Kiwi Farms as a means to an end, knowing that Suit Yourself, Ralph, and Kerr all read the farms, too. But then again, one can go crazy trying to get inside the head of a fucking crazy person.
EDIT: Say what we will about him, but the unavoidable truth about Vickers is that he and his wife have owned and operated a small business in California for 12 years (which means they've been at least moderately successful since they were a few years younger than Ralph is now)--this is no easy feat in one of the most liberal and overly-regulated states in the country. Entrepreneurs that have enjoyed any amount of success at all are, in my experience, immensely arrogant. Because they built something from nothing, they think themselves far smarter than they are. More importantly, they don't care about the failures, they only care about the endgame. It maybe that Vickers is just throwing whatever shit against the wall as he can just to see what sticks, not giving two shits about what doesn't work.

Nice post, longish but full of detail, different to my incoherent ramblings. To my understanding, he could still be required to fund Xander, and have no parental/visitation rights, but he'll be reflected on Xander's birth certificate. It's only a matter of time till the kid gets old enough and decides to look up his shit father. That would be the worst epiphany imaginable. I'd say it's better to have serial killer or rapist parents because at least "I'm not like them!". Ralph, releasing Xander 0.0 feterlisation on the internet? Fuck. That's savage. I'm almost going to say it's probably better to trade child support funds for "no dad"... but there's something nobody's mentioned yet.

I think a very idealistic, optimistic part of Ralph thought having a kid would force him to get his act together. Now it’s just another mess he’s made that so pains him to ponder that he needs to be wasted during his waking hours. Imagine trying to run from yourself 24/7, knowing you’ll never escape.
