If you're wondering why there's a 2 year gap between the OP and Devon's reply, I originally drafted a thread for both Thomas Nelson and Devon back in 2019. Eventually, the decision was made to just focus on one individual rather than both, so Devon's part was dropped and never received its own thread. That was until somewhat recent events, where @shortfatotaku has been trying to derail Lilith (his friend's) thread. Although this thread mostly exists to contain Devon's whiteknighting and failed "attempts" to troll the farms, @Null wanted to make this into a proper thread. So as a result, the OP will act as a brief overview of Devon's past + present online behavior.

Devon Del Vecchio, better known online as "ShortFatOtaku" (SFO), is a pretty boring weeb in his 30s. Or at least, that's how he likes to describes himself. Outside of his mundane self description, Devon has shown himself to be a total loser, an open degenerate, and a slimy, petty coward when it comes to his online feuds with others.

"They Attacked Gamers!"

Like with many of the threads about Internet Famous cows, Devon's humble beginnings can be traced back to his involvement in #Gamergate. Having started his SFO channel over 10 years ago, Devon would mainly upload some uninteresting pop culture reviews and vlogs(?) starring himself and some friends. That was until a few years later when the gamer nation was under attack. Rather than let those games journos get away with this injustice, Devon shifted his channel's focus in an attempt to fight back against these feminists and SJWs terrorizing the West.

This kicked off his desire to do YouTube as a full time gig where he'd discuss controversial topics involving both politics and pop culture. This also lead to him meeting and befriending larger creators on the platform like Sargon of Akkad, along with some other Skeptics.

Like many other YouTubers, he'd eventually open his own Patreon, which hasn't been updated in nearly 3 years. He wants to delete his account due to his disdain for the company's policies and stances, yet he can't afford to stop receiving $116 a month from the 42 suckers fans that support him there. He would much rather be banned by the platform itself, which is a pretty bitch move for somebody who actively wants nothing to do with the platform they outright oppose.

Unfortunately, despite his newfound ties to these popular, likeminded creators, Devon would pretty much remain as a very minor character coming out of GG. The only semi-relevant thing he'd be known for was his supposed larp as a disabled lesbian, going by the alias "Camera Lady", who was known for sexually harassing women on Twitter. The rumor turned out to be (partially) false, as Camera Lady was in fact a real person associated with SFO, having refused to prove who she was whenever confronted. In that regard, it's fair to see why many people believed Devon was behind the account. Although that's not to say that Devon himself hasn't acted like a degenerate weirdo in public.

Pure Degeneracy

There's not a whole lot to say about this part's introduction. Basically, Devon has a habit of oversharing his sexual interests and personal life. Maybe it's part of a humiliation fetish, or maybe he just does it for the attention seeking (although he'll usually claim to simply not care). Either way, there's a bunch of deviant content posted to the thread that I've compiled here:

He's also made some videos on such thought-provoking topics as "Is It Possible To Be A Moral Pedophile?" His channel's most popular video is about Total Biscuit and Co being asked, "Are traps gay?" at a public convention Q&A. The video currently sits at around 920K views.

The Pugnacious Coward

Everything prior has acted as some light, albeit mostly superfluous background info on who Devon is. Now, for the actual meat and potatoes of the thread, as per the man's own request:

Internet drama amongst online communities is, and will always be, inevitable. Like clockwork, it only takes a small squabble to later be blown out of proportion. Devon is clearly no stranger to any of this.

Contrary to this sentiment he held years prior, the past year has resulted in an online feud between him and shoe0nhead (June Lapine/Laporta). Aside from mostly lurking on the Farms, much of Devon's activity had been devoted to shitting on June in her thread:





It reached the point where Devon was hanging out in June's Discord server just to fuck with her:

He's made it a habit to dunk on Shoe for how her life is a total mess, while he himself is very well adjusted individual and is mostly happy with how his life is going (keep this point in mind for later).

While his drama with June pushed Devon to be more active on the Farms, his incessant whiteknighting for his friend Lilith Lovett earned him is own thread (initially to contain his off-topic replies). His reply to the initial "Drag Queen Story Time" controversy can be found below the OP, along with some other replies now moved to the new thread.


After receiving his own thread, Devon would gloat about how @Null was assmad, and that he was totally pwning KiwiFarms by being an annoying deviant:




If you couldn't tell by now, Devon has a tendency to default to one of three tactics when faced with any kind of criticism or ridicule:
1. Mention how he's a totally boring loser who's got nothing to lose.
2. Downplay an issue significantly or fail to address what's being put forth.
3. "You mad bro? Can't handle a bit of trolling?" :3

There's no better example than his short-lived spat with Jim, aka Mister Metokur. During the time when Internet Blood Sports was alive and well, Devon would put out a video talking about Jean-Francois Gariepy (JF) being a cow. He and a couple others urged Jim to make his own video on JF, as they felt that JF totally deserved to be ridiculed. Instead, Jim told them to fuck off and that he was never going to make the video.

This would lead to Devon and his cohost ScrumpMonkey doing a livestream about Jim, where they invited on a former Metokur associate to confirm certain facts about Jim's past. The nearly 2 hour stream was filled with petty jabs, copious amounts of salt, and some really pathetic attempts to wave around Jim's supposed dox. Some of the points in this stream, such as how Jim was this boomer groomer that liked to hang out with young boys online, were later used in Sargon's infamous "Hello Jim" dumpsterfire of a stream.

Towards the end, Devon claimed that they were totally not afraid to invite Jim onto a stream for some banter, and even looked forward to the opportunity to speak with the man himself. As people began to discuss SFO's petty attack against Jim on sites like /cow/, Devon actively responded to some of the commenters, saying how they were all totally assmad and that blowing off Jim was some kind of clever trolling tactic:

Unsurprisingly, despite Jim's insistence to try and get something scheduled, Devon continued to make excuses and kept backing out, choosing instead to play his Nintendo games. Jim joined Ralph's show to respond to the stream, while also calling out the gang for acting like a bunch of pussies throwing stones from their glass houses:

Eventually, Devon did come onto one of Ralph's shows while Jim, Naked Ape and Vee were all there. Vee had to try and play devil's advocate on behalf of Devon, while Devon himself played dumb and acted like he did nothing wrong, all because no dox was dropped and Jim wasn't intimidated by Devon's weak threat. Devon had very little to say in response to Jim calling him a slimy, spineless coward. By the end of Jim's berating, Devon felt the need to apologize to Jim for initially offering an invite to their stream in the first place:

Mostly recently, he's had a falling out with his good pal (and now former co-host) Scrump. Devon had to put out a video clarifying the situation, while also sharing some of the messages Scrump sent him:

Some of the messages, despite Devon's denial, give some insight into Devon's personal life as being an incompetent manchild with little aspirations and a reluctance to take his life seriously. This runs contrary to that aforementioned point he's made about being a very well-adjusted individual, given his personal failings. However, do take some of the info from Scrump with some massive grains of salt, as the above messages were all sent to Devon publicly out of spite. And they're also all coming from a guy whose two ex-girlfriends are now supposedly dating each other. So make of that what you will.

Atleast with the religious argument people could argue priests need to be present in a community due to spirituality/religion, they have a function for Christians. What are you talking about? I remember when that shit came out, everyone was talking about it. It was all over the news and all of the Catholics I know talked about how horrible and shameful it was. The only silence was the silence of the church higher ups while the thing was happening, that was the scandal. That they knew something was off (and some knew the actual details) and kept their mouth shut.
The moment it became public just about everyone on earth condemned the whole thing and it's been so talked about that people constantly bring it up whenever pedophilia or religion is brought up.

well, i have always considered myself 'center left' but the left was a lot different twenty years ago and i guess my internal political compass hasn't caught up. i've always thought that adults have the right to do whatever they want as long as they don't harm other people, including be gay or take drugs or transition. that's none of my business. i've always thought free speech should be as near-absolute as it can be. i don't mind universal healthcare or other social programs. but i'm very anti-socialist and very pro-capitalist as it ties nearly into the 'self-determination' thing. i was considered a radical in school and now i am a 'conservative' (whatever that means) but my position hasn't changed.
