As cool as this is, they have already been declared "illegitimate" and the current Board is still in charge and the mask mandate is in effect.

Basically at this point the people have no power. While it's heartening to see the Revolutionary Spirit still exists in America, we have been locked out of any real control.

I hate to sound doomer, but I think a year from today we will still be wearing masks in many cases, and many local govts and businesses will still mandate them.

Ppl are fighting back, it's a start. Hopefully the school board starts to get some masked nighttime visits to convince them masks aint the hill to die on.

edit: see, sometimes i'm PRO-MASK! :D

The powers that be thought they'd fattened the cattle up with a high enough dose of panem et circenses. Eventually they're going to learn that's incorrect.

Gonna have to take some pictures of the graffiti on the sidewalk by my bus stop. All masked people wearing glasses, with pithy phrases like "Protect the Elderly" and "We Will Beat the Virus" on the masks. Ridiculous.
Wonder how much of a grant the "artist" got to deface the sidewalks like that.
I passed some graffiti on a freeway in Long Beach the other day that said, "Vaccines Are Evil".

There is hope!

Sounds like the board decided to just end the meeting early since people dared protest so the parents figured they could act in the board's place? The parents/protestors then figured they could act in place of the elected officials when that's not really a thing they get to do.

The board was even pompous enough to call in sheriffs to tell people to go as they treated the violations of the Rona procedures as a threat.

The morons on that board have pushed these people too far and for too long. Things won't be peaceful for much longer. This type of sentiment is spreading. Fuck the branch covidians.

edit: uh in minecraft I guess. No fuck that, how about in meinKampf instead.

There’s some significant faggotry going on with the Biden address. Masks everywhere, even though people are like 20’ apart or whatever and who knows how many are vaccinated.
Its a sign of social submission now. We do them all the time. Wear uniforms etc. Masks just shows you cuck properly to these times and are on the team.

It's the same reason why libcucks wear masks even when alone or outside, or how the media superimposes masks on cartoon characters or people in advertisements: it's trying to normalize muh new normal. For fuck's sake, Sleepy Joe wore a mask in a video interview.

"My symptoms are pretty mild" "TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY!"
"I performed all the rituals and still got sick" "KEEP PERFORMING THE RITUALS!"
"The vaccine doesn't prevent reinfection" "TAKE THE SHOT!"

Huh, I could swear I've heard of a condition where someone creates or exaggerates medical danger in order to get attention. It's on the tip of my tongue, starts with "munch" I think...

this looks more like I WAS A GOODTHINKFUL CITIZEN but somehow it still happened and I'm not dead BUT BE GOODTHINKFUL because otherwise they'll kill you and me

Only through lack of enforcement are they hindered from doing so. You can say they're circumventing the official election procedure. But it isn't right by the schoolboard to refuse negotiations either.

If the schoolboard no longer represents the electorate they can't be surprised when the electorate discards them.

This is a good argument though for home schooling and private schools.

I haven't gotten the vaccine yet and I don't intend to. That they just introduced a vaccine so quickly - when that should go through the proper testing phase until it's actually ready for use - is the prime reason why. I honestly don't think it's safe to take...and while I don't doubt it's real, from what I've been able to gather so far on the threads talking about it, the coronavirus is more or less just a stronger variation of influenza that people are tarding out hard over.

I'm not anti-vaccine, but all of this is extremely suspect. Does anyone else think that this was planned or am I being too paranoid?
100% this is a plandemic.

You're such a boy scout.
Don't need to be Superman to not be a retard, it's a pretty normal thing, you should try it sometime.

Covid: Turkey prepares for its first full lockdown
The streets are crowded, the shopping centres busy and the traffic heavy.
Some flock to the main bus terminal to get out of Istanbul, while others are trying to stockpile alcohol amid news of a "booze ban".
This is the mood as Turkey prepares later on Thursday to enter its first full lockdown of the pandemic, to curb a surge in infections and deaths.
WhatsApp groups are now dominated by messages about how life will be in the coming days.
This time last year, Turkey was seen as a success story for its early combative action and was even praised by the WHO.
One year on, it is among the countries worst affected by Covid, with the highest infection rate in Europe.

How Turkey's infection rate soared

Ankara is still proud of its relatively low total number of deaths, at around 39,000, and authorities say the pandemic is still under control, thanks to the country's strong healthcare system. But the spike in the number of cases is worrying.

Following a second period of restrictions starting last November, the number of daily cases fell to around 6,000 at one point in mid-February.
But as soon as the government started to ease the restrictions in March, a new wave struck Turkey.
The government then U-turned to re-impose restrictions at the beginning of April. However, that was not enough to curb the spread of infections.
At its height in April, there were more than 60,000 new cases a day and more than 300 deaths.

Why did it happen?

According to critics, the government lifted restrictions too early and the vaccination process has not been fast enough.
More than 22 million people have been vaccinated so far in this country of 82 million.
Turkey mainly uses the Chinese Sinovac vaccine, as well as lower numbers of Pfizer-Biontech.

Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said recently: "We have sped up vaccine diplomacy for the injections including Sinovac, Pfizer-Biontech and (Russia's) Sputnik V".
Another criticism was that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's ruling AK Party organised packed congresses in March while many social gatherings, public protests were banned.
Scientists also say the new variants, especially the UK (Kent) strain, have accelerated the infection rate.
Whatever the reason for the new wave, Mr Erdogan has finally announced a full lockdown effective from 19:00 (16:00GMT) on Thursday until 17 May.

What are the new measures?

  • People will have to stay at home except for essential shopping trips and urgent medical treatment
  • All travel between cities will require official approval
  • Schools will close and strict capacity limits will be imposed on users of public transport
  • Alcohol sales are being limited
  • Some businesses are exempt from the new restrictions.

Many experts are happy with the new lockdown as they say it is necessary.
However, some argue that the lockdown will not last long enough to combat the rise in cases and that it may not be very effective if it is not supported by a faster vaccination programme. Any measures should also provide economic support for low-income people, they believe.
Across Turkish society there is a determination to see the back of this most recent wave, and the government has a clear target.
President Erdogan has said: "At a time when Europe is entering a phase of reopening, we must rapidly reduce our number of cases to fewer than 5,000, not to be left behind".
The measures last throughout the rest of Ramadan and the Eid festival that follows it.
Last year Turkey saw a 70% fall in foreign visitors. The tourist industry hopes the lockdown will help enable a reopening in time for the summer season.
