Am I the only person on earth that thinks these things are really stupid? Why do they have big head are they secretly Bratz Figs re-painted? Why do they have ones of every TV show, movie, Video Game, book and/or comic book ever made by man kind? I wonder when these ugly things are coming to the Dollar Store...

I have 3 that I got for free. I'm going to sell on ebay or burn them.

I think I've seen those before. Are the creators hoping these will be the next Pokemon craze or something? I'd say just sell them on eBay, burning them is tempting, but selling gets you something out of the deal.

Unless it's their MLP doll. Set it on fire and make a YouTube video of it to troll Bronies.

I think they'redumb too. I think they got kind of popular because the type of autists who obsessively collect comic book/movie/cartoon memorabilia are the perfect target customers for overpriced collectibles that serve no real world purpose.

The only one I would ever consider buying of these is the Keroppi figure which actually an acurate representation of his character design rather than dot eyed big headed chibi Marvel characters or whatever

If it wasn't for Funko, I wouldn't have this guy though:

Some of the stuff they make can be kinda cool (usually their non-POP! figures and the Fabrikations) but I can definitely agree that the simple round eyes look boring on a lot of characters.

Yeah they're dumb but they're cheap gifts for people - I've been looking for the custom Pop figures, no one sells them anymore it seems. :heart-empty:

Make some yourself with some paint (I don't know what kind of paint would stick to them, I've never felt one) and some sculpty

We sell a metric fuck ton of these where I work. Some series are cooler than others. We just got Orange is the New Black ones and I'm trying to snag a tranny POP.

I've gotta disagree; I actually think they're more for the generic fans that have popped up in recent years. It's an easy way of saying "Oh, I'm really into x show, but I'm not really a nerd."

Did I mention this exists?

That actually looks better than all the other figurines, especially since it has a different pose and look compared to the rest.

I just found out they make Dragonball Z ones now.

No Gohan, though. *sigh*

Edit: While I'm glad to see Vocaloid ones too, I don't see why they're listed under Pop Animation when they could just make a Pop Music category.

It's not my particular taste in super deform character designs, but I have enough SD crap in other styles I like that I can't get on any high horse.

Some figures can look really good while others can just look really generic and boring. I prefer the ones based of cartoons and monsters rather than actual people because of this.

I need to drag this thread up from the depths of hell to show how festive/ autistic I am.

The hats came from the dollar store and I consider them a dollar well spent.
