man sometimes i envy phil, not because of his dumbness and autistic way of talking and doing things

but man that dude makes money hand over fist doing nothing but sitting on his ass, bitching and moaning about how shit his life is cause he has to sit on his ass a couple hrs a day and play games shittly and beg.

while i work my ass off to make what he does. which just makes me more envious and confused as to why this dude sits around crying like a bitch about how hard his life is while he sits in an isolated AC room with all his gadgets and shit, if i could make that money too doing what he does. sitting around in my home a couple of hrs a day playing games and bitching for 6 figures. id do that shit in a heartbeat

Think of it this way. You have a future and you're capable of appreciating things in life. Phil has no future and is incapable of appreciating anything. Plus phil looks like absolute ass. Even Anthony Burch can say "At least I'm not Darksydephil".

What the fuck did he think "restart cycle" mean in the first place?

Also, I haven't played this game, but even if he hard closed it, wouldn't the cycle restart anyway? Isn't that the entire point that he was bitching about all day yesterday; that he HAD to finish a cycle within his session?

I could be wrong on that last part, but he literally said that he couldn't save mid-cycle, then he wanted to quit mid-cycle. Like, duh?

Edit: LOL. He's confused as to why people would think it would be quicker to replay the cycle a second time. He really doesn't retain information does he?

So, after reading some of the recent posts, my brain put two and two together:

1) Phil is such an incompetent piece of shit that he prefers simple games or games that basically play themselves.

2) If you know anything about Balan Wonderworld, it's that it's insultingly basic by having a development focus of every single button only doing ONE thing per costume, the levels are uninspired, and there's not really a story whatsoever.

Conclusion: Somebody please GOD get Phil to play Balan Wonderworld. It's not a good game, but it was designed to have the least complex gameplay imaginable...meaning Phil will still fuck it up somehow.

I was wondering why he wasn't playing that already. It seems right up his alley. If he's so concerned about a "mature adult streamer" playing kids' games, why does he preach that Bugsnax is the greatest thing ever?

2) DSP doesn't like ANY video games (insert Champions joke here). It'd be different if there was something that he actually liked. The only thing that comes close are the Heavy Rain/Detroit Choose-Your-Own-Adventure games, which would be fine, but even those it's not like he replays any of them. It's not like he'll do a Heavy Rain chill stream or anything; those games are one and done too.

Even things like Ace Wright or Danganronpa he attempts to guess what happens in the case/murder to score "I told you so" points. And just below money and food, telling anyone that will listen "I knew it D00D ACK ACK ACK" is EXTREMELY valuable to Phil. That and the fact there is limited gameplay for maximum "chill" it's games like that he clearly enjoys.

He has set up his daily routine to be entirely about him. No one depends on him, and the empathy for anyone besides himself irritates me to no end. In no way can he take any criticism whatsoever. I mean it is clearly obvious that he is a narcissist, does anyone disagree? Legit question, not trying to be a dick would love to hear the counter.

It's fantastic streams like today which reinforce that he knows nothing about games. Literally nothing. He memorised some combos on a Street Fighter game 27 years ago and that's it. How can he claim to have a 10+ year begacy of laughable gaming content creator and not know how a rogue-like game works. The King of Retro, King of Hate, King of Begging, has never heard of Rogue...

I have never been more bored watching him play a game. Ace Attorney games are rather nice story based games. I enjoy them. But, Phil with his absolute disinterest and lack of understanding ruins the story of those games for me.

I never understood how his paypigs could sit and watch him play a game without combat. The only time Phil is a bit entertaining is when he is salty. That is why his original Metal Gear and Dark Souls this is how you don't plays are the best in my opinion.

Also, a lot of those girls know how to actually run a business unlike Phil. Some actually share the profits with their mods and then the mods put some of the money back into the channel by buying themselves and other fans subs. It's actually smart for everyone involved. If Phil wasn't such a greedy ass he wouldn't have to beg so much and actually build the foundation of some human dignity. But, hey what do I know I am just a filthy detractor.

I wanted to stop by and tell you that DSP is one the best and juiciest lolcows on the internet.
You might not agree with that now but you will agree 10 years into the future. This man is slowly descending into schizophrenia. If things are so bad now, I can't imagine how they'll be like in 20 years. He might seriously be homeless. At this moment in time, this man can barely think and function.
I am watching the latest Snort Burnell video and I'm having trouble processing what he's saying. I can't believe what I'm hearing. He's ranting about the same shit that he ranted about over 10 years ago. Fucking review scores for fucking vidya! He's almost 40 years old and ranting about shit not even teenagers care about. And all this over a game he hasn't even played!
He's judging a game that he hasn't played by the reviews which he doesn't trust. And then, he judges the reviews on top of that!
Can we step back, take a moment, and grasp how batshit insane that is? He riles himself up over this inane bullshit.
