I probably deserve a top hat for this, but my contempt for these stupid plastic toys knows no bounds. This looks like something my little nephew would leave discarded in the living room after playing with them for 5 minutes. They look cheap and childish. If I went to an adult man's house and saw these displayed in a cabinet, I'd probably be correct in assuming some level of mental deficiency.

Dude its worse than that because those toys are modern facsimilies of what i would assume are og collectible Japanese transformers. So they are intentionally making toys that look like shit for the speds who arent autistic enough for actual vintage toy collection but wanna be part of the collector hugbox too.

Id say putting the stickers on those things was the most work hes done with any of his toys, but unboxing and transforming the Unicron probably tops that and as a bonus was his workout for the entire month.

I'm honestly surprised he doesn't do unboxing videos. He constantly has new toys coming in and it would document the only physical activity he gets into. I wonder if he doesn't do it because he's: too lazy to set up a camera, embarrassed by his man voice, or doesn't want the camera catching him struggling to breathe during all of that strenuous activity.

Am TF fan, won’t deny it one bit. But Haslab Unicron is one of the most divisive things in the community, the camp that leans more into the consoomer archetype is paying scalper prices for it and some people literally see it as a point of pride.

The other camp sees it for what it is, lazy shell-forming that prioritized sheer bulk over quality engineering with a severe lack of paint that leaves the greebles/fine details lost to a sea of yellow plastic.

The ones that Kevin is stickering are Third Party figures that try to ape the old 80s design philosophy/engineering so they look like shit on purpose.

edit so I don't double post: null's stream was a very good intro to kev and the ranch but I kinda expected him to talk about the fake siege and penny and bonnie's displays of power by visibly open carrying firearms in town*sigh* it is a tall order to expect someone to sift through over a thousand pages of shit in a week though and jersh did a good job regardless

its probably the man voice. bein a youtuber means being comfortable with your voice and/or face and troons are the opposite of that. anyway, time to sit back and watch this thread get swarmed after the stream. 8)
