To add some optimism to this thread, it seems like quite a few people I’ve known to be hardline leftists are starting to swing back on the pendulum. A lot of them unanimously agree that Portland, Seattle, and L.A are complete shitholes, many also agree that Twitter needs to burn and they’ve shut their accounts down, some are even talking about how they’re way less angry now they’ve sworn off social media in general. Some are even telling softie soyboys to fuck off and stop acting like bitches. They’re also talking about how much the newer Star Wars is trash and pandering is dehumanizing and condescending. Will this trend continue? Idk but it’s interesting to see where people are now that they’re not frequently tuning into twitter politics.
