I think what we are seeing there is the minority background-radiation level presence of lgbt / degeneracy enablers being given a spotlight in an otherwise deserted social media comment section. The recent developments have silently wiped out ~90% of people with normal sensibilities, even given an anime focused audience as your "normal" pool of people being sampled. What disgusts me most about this situation are the few people in the comment sections for his videos that continue to egg him on.
He's taking stronger drugs than weed these days from what I'm seeing from those teeth of his.lmao, weed isn't addictive duude. Joe rogan said so
No one should make that money rambling on children cartoons, that's just the universe finding balance once again.“Fallen from being a Loser Anituber”.
Yes, a Loser Anituber with a Girlfriend he was thinking of marrying, making 48 grand a year doing the shit he loves for a brief period.
Who fell to a severely drug addicted tranny who’s in denial of his boyfriend being unattracted by him, making shitty music no-one fucking listens to.
The last era of Digibro I actually enjoyed was that era where he got a haircut and shaved his beard down to a reasonably size, actually went outside and was going to cons and shit, I genuinely felt good for him and I was like, damn, the faggot is growing up.
Is Digi aware he has no fanbase? Like, I cannot imagine a single person genuinely enjoying his content anymore, most of the call-ins on the Voidgazers show are people he knows.
Even fucking Chris Chan probably had a few genuine fans, like that obese guy.
What disgusts me most about this situation are the few people in the comment sections for his videos that continue to egg him on. The people who feed into their obvious delusion saying things like "I'm so happy for you!" before unsubscribing and never watching another video of theirs again. There is a downward spiral of a person happening right in front of our eyes, and people's interpretations are so skewed that it seems like an improvement. Comparing Digi now to Digi two years ago is not just polarizing in appearance, but also in character. In previous vlogs, even while drunk, he could still convey an idea without slurring his words or going off like a tweaker. In his latest video he sounds borderline delusional, winding in an out of tangents and pretending to be some sort of seasoned intellectual. You can tell that even after his transition, he still doesn't take care of himself, the shitty teeth and permanent five o'clock shadow prove this. His sunken eyes and gaunt cheeks are on full display, he may even be anorexic. What's even worse is his headache-inducing, outstandingly annoying voice of what he thinks a woman sounds like.
Its insane how you can look at all these things and think, "Yep, this is great!" It might be a product of how the internet and culture in general is pushing to not under any circumstances question someone's choices. This is probably amplified in a community that has it's fair share of degenerates and deviants. What also has had me scratching my head is the fact that Conrad is a pedophile has eluded his fans somehow. You would think that he would be crucified as soon a single clout-chaser caught wind of it, so what's the deal?
It's like he never understood why people liked him or why he was given so much money and just sort of ran with it....almost like...almost like he's a fucking idiot who stumbled into so much success that it ruined his simple life.Despite a decade of entertainment creation under his belt, Conrad apparently has no idea what view counts, view ratios or even comments mean in regard to fans' positive reception to his videos.
His small chance of being a productive member of society has long fallen away. Now that I type that out, I'm not sure which path is worse or if he even ever had a chance at being normal.
Not saying you're wrong but his teeth always looked like that, thats unironically why he grew the big beard, to hide how gross they were. He's taking stronger drugs than weed these days from what I'm seeing from those teeth of his.
He's more of an example of why no-one should trust an individual like himself, who has shown multiple times throughout his career to be often unable or just flat out refuses to fulfil promises owed to his fans. The problem with the likes of Patreon is that any donation is that; a donation. It is not an investment, a share or a transaction for a particular product owed (though many creators do promise 'tiers' that often include a reward, though how legally obligated they are to fulfil that 'reward' (still not a product) is dubious). Look at the surgery money WingsOfRedemption pocketed after choosing the cheaper Mexico option; he had no legal obligation to return the money left over or even do the promised US option. To my understanding, after having stared at these numbers going up an down for quite some time and frequently, those are already after patreon takes its cut.
I've said it before but Conrad is the go-to example for why you shouldn't give those "internet content creators" money. Chances are they take it and run or even, see Conrad, stop to turn around and laugh at you.
EDIT: Also this gem Riley posted on Twitter; see thumbnail attachment. The idea of this delusional cunt calling anymore "poor".
this is why someone needs to update the OP and keep it updated with all the insanity conrad keeps getting intoWhy did he try to rename himself after an anime character if he's so sick of anime? Has he explained this more than claiming it's being more "true" to himself? It's like saying you want to distance yourself from videogames but then go call yourself Cloud Strife or Solid Snake, just what are you doing? And I can't tell if he picked that character in a fit of irony, or if he never got far enough to realize that anime character is nothing but a persona drummed up as an extreme coping mechanism for a psychotic tranny.
Turkey Tom's video on Digibro/Otaku Gonzo Journalism, "Busting Digibro/Otaku Gonzo Journalism: The Worst Anime Reviewer (And Creep) on YouTube", first posted on Youtube 24 July 2018 and first linked to by @Piga Dgrifm on this thread the same day, was later deleted by Tom from his channel, likely as a result of Conrad threatening to sue him at the time.
You really show your age with this comment. Rap music isn't edgy or dangerous, this isn't 1995 anymore. For zoomers, rap music is everywhere, as a large chunk of the pop music industry. If you just called it "monotone pop music" that would be pretty accurate at this point. Nothing becomes that popular without being highly marketable. How does even the most autistic, socially malajusted anime fan stay on Digi's wild descent into "underground hiphop?" Seriously, consider even that Digi was becoming a hypebeast scenester hiphop kid, anime spergs would still consider that scary and too black becuase the only music they enjoy is unlistenable nerd garbage like metal and anime soundtracks, so who are these fucking stans? How are they so unable to comprehend that Digi's harem of white trash drug addict wasteoids are reprehensible to someone trying to live their own life like Nate?
Not sure if Riley is just creating drama for the sake of attention, or if he is doing the fake-it-till-you-make-it thing, but I don't think there's anything that screams "penniless underclass" like "homeless bastard son of a crackwhore."EDIT: Also this gem Riley posted on Twitter; see thumbnail attachment. The idea of this delusional cunt calling anyone "poor".
Not to mention millennials (like Digi) and older zoomers would be aware of rap metal/nu metal, popular in the late 90s-early 00s. Also, J-rap has made up a fair amount of anime OPs and EDs.You really show your age with this comment. Rap music isn't edgy or dangerous, this isn't 1995 anymore. Yeah, Rap has been doing this make the kids do the funny dances thing for quite a while now. Just look at those numbers, It's as Mainstream as it gets.Rap music isn't edgy or dangerous, this isn't 1995 anymore. For zoomers, rap music is everywhere, as a large chunk of the pop music industry.
Thank you SO much for this link. I really, really appreciate it. I like watching some commentary channels and have recently watched a few of this Turkey Tom guy's videos, so to find out that he made a video on Digibro is interesting for sure.I thought this video was lost media; there is no archive/mirror for it on Youtube but this comment on Lost Media Wiki (https://lostmediawiki.com/Turkey_Tom_(partially_found_removed_videos;_2016-2018)#cs-comment-39967) points out that the video (in 720p quality) is available via a public Google Docs spreadsheet, "turkey tom video list": https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1W9OHMIxCZgeSsBh9ib_PMDTLC_hdKfN42AzVWq-GfhU/edit#gid=0, along with other Turkey Tom videos.
