It's funny, if this were anyone else, I'd probably take their side and think that the librarian was being a moral busybody like someone out of the 80s-90s Satanic Panic. D&D players are "hooligans?" But because this is a Trancher, not a normal person we're talking about we already know they are tone deaf, poorly integrate into the local community and get offended when people don't appreciate their presence. Besides, if they are so into D&D what do they need to start a youth club for? They don't do jack shit for the ranch, there's plenty of them lazing around in the dome all day, you could easily get a game going if anyone was actually interested in playing. Even if they wanted to start a local gaming group,,, why a YOUTH group, and not people their own age? Which is why it seems so obviously like an opportunity to preach to impressionable children about the wonders of Tenacious Unicron Tranch and their woke religion rather than any interest in actually playing the game.

Jesus Christ, this thread is full of "alpacashwitz" jokes and stuff, but while I don't doubt that conditions aren't great, I did figure that they at least were getting sufficient calories since they have plenty of hay. Maybe I'm just displaying my utterly embarrassing ignorance regarding alpaca, but those two look seriously unhealthy. I know that healthy dogs have a visibly outlined rib cage (not that the ribs are individually visible, but that you can see the shape of the cage as a whole), but alpaca shouldn't have a belly that dips up like that, right?
