So, while I'm not discounting the lassie perhaps being an attention seeking, mentally unstable fecker, could be there is another angle to this. There's this thing where people want to be disabled, think body dysphoria, but instead of thinking you're in the wrong body, you've got too many limbs or some whacky shit like that. I'm not sure the pain she'd be going through with attacking the legs, slashing and cutting herself would payout in attention unless there was some sort of end goal here, to make it all worth while. Could be the self inflicting of wounds might stop after the legs get/got the lop due to her being in 'her' body and getting the attention an actual disabled bastard

"Behcet's" is a helluva disease

Officially went down the full K-hole today and watched the entire IG saga.

That is the hardest part for me to stomach. Well, one, is there are a couple points earlier in her story where docs don't want to debride her wounds "because the wounds are not self-inflicted," and the Behcet's has to run its course before the damaged tissue can be removed.
Because she is diagnosed as having Behcet's, the underlying problem/diseased tissue would still remain because she's in a Behcet's flare & it will continue to be damaged until the flare is over.

I'm certainly no expert, but her entire treatment plan for most of this seems to be based upon Behcet's. If Kelly never had Behcet's, every single time a decision like whether or not to debride was made factoring in that condition & not the true injuries. Every single time, she could have just said, "I picked at them" and probably not even be judged the first time or two because I'm sure they itch. Every single time, she threw away her legs more and more.

I'm appalled Kelly got how many millions of dollars of tax-payer funded treatment and care to try to help her keep her legs, ultimately to fail because she was allowed to pick at them. I realize it's Canada, can they not strap a psych patient's hands down if they're that much of a risk to themselves? It seems it would have been more cost-effective to hire a 24-hour babysitter team to keep her from hurting herself than pay for all the extensive wound care and long hospitalizations.

Does anyone know which infections her legs had? There are pictures where her legs look like a Petri dish from a doorknob swab, seemingly multiple infection types.

Apologies for shitting up the thread and not providing any further updates, but I've been following our Vampire Munchie for years, and re-read through this and her threads on other forums within the last week and just had a sudden epiphany that I hadn't seen anyone else mention, but it may have been too obvious to others so they didn't.

So, right before her leg saga, she had those "mysterious blisters" on her fingers. Almost immediately, everyone figured she grabbed some kind of heat tool for hair, like a curling iron or straightener, and held onto it until it badly burnt her. Once that started to heal, her legs became her focus.

It just occurred to me that her fingers were almost certainly her test run for burning herself (either with heat or, most likely for her legs, chemicals) and seeing what her results would be. Losing a hand probably would have been too difficult for her, so she didn't continue to aggravate the wound on her hand. Similarly, this seems to be why she stopped fucking with her thighs, as amputation up to the hip would have been "too much" for her.

I'm not sure why this feels like an "a-ha" moment, but I'm very convinced her finger burns were her early experimentation with the process of burn wounds that she later applied to her legs.

Definitely cigarettes I used to sit burn my legs with them when I was an edgy teen in the same like 3 or 4 places and they made the exact same round deep black marks you see early with Kelly

January was when she posted about her toe breaking and then she posted photos and the video or her toe January - February. Then she started this whole my account was hacked story. IIRC she had mentioned she was worried about accidently hurting her feet or toes in November/December because she couldn't feel them. I'm guessing she doesn't need to post so frequently because of the amount of attention she gets when she does post an update but it appears to be at least monthly.

She got a bit quiet from mid November to mid January. There were some posts that were deleted, but it was dropbox video season mostly. Don't know about her Facebook. I've read that people were private messaging and she was telling them whatever stuff eg, only allowed tylenol for pain. Some stuff got leaked and Kelly would have a shit fit so I assume some private conversations contained some truth.

I can't remember what page # it was on because this thread's blown the fuck up over the past few days (and I love it) but she had been posting on her facebook and I think she was made aware that she was on her last leg a while ago- like maybe 1-4 months. If this were a normal person we were talking about, it's completely plausible that they were so physically rundown and unwell that social media presence would be at the bottom of their list of priorities, but considering this is Kelly we're talking about... I think she's played the 'long con'. Knowing that she was falling a foot behind, I think she has spent the past few weeks orchestrating how she was gonna play this off. She's already made a new account and has coined a truly retarded hashtag to follow the next step in her journey as a self-induced double amputee. I think she's withheld from posting on her instagram account to build suspense, and she's definitely had the time to formulate a plan for her next big storyline. We need to remember that everything she has ever done up to this point has been not only an obscene ploy for attention, but also the playing out of some sick tale of woes to really dig her heels in at being the most damaged, tormented, rare, unfortunately circumstanced tiny little ballerina the world has ever seen.

Also, as unlikely as this may be, I want to put forth the possibility of her completely ceasing the self mutilation, learning how to walk on prosthetics, restarting her 'ballerina' storyline and becoming some sort of 'The Mighty' tier inspiration porn. 'the double amputee ballerina'/'world's first double amputee to dance pointe on prosthetics' sort of shit. I seriously doubt it, but I just want to leave this theory here to get my foot in the door.
