Idk if she's done songs by Cake for karaoke, but I feel like she'd like them and they're easier on the vocals which she can use as a "break" between other songs. Bonus points for their use of trumpets, something Ame has expressed a liking for. Examples:

What 'rhombus head' Gura would look like besides her genmates on the collab. Its the biggest blunder on her rigging, she can't turn her head without looking like a cardboard cutout. Not the cat ears, not even the holes.

Let me just say my piece as a fan of the shark. We tolerated the stiffness of the original avatar because no one expected EN to blow up. We expected at least the same quality as other holos for the new outfit. It actually became worse.

I watch Gura for her voice and personality, but my god is it too much to ask for the same quality rig as other holos? Not even talking about subs or popularity, not even accessories, just good turn rigging. Cover calls themselves a tech company specialising in 2d and they didn't catch this? Big funny.

Apologies for the rant. My next post shall be in a better state of mind.

HoloEN are stuck with their rigs until they get base outfit 2.0 updates.

Subaru has a 2.0 outfit but her favourite outfit is still the 1.0 grey one she has, which is why she often looks so stiff.

And while I sympathise that Gura needs a better rigger as to not look so far behind the others, a lot of the sperging is directed in the wrong place.

The rigger has nothing to do with her accessories; a recent tweet from Ame confirmed that accessories are the job of the Mama after being greenlit by EnMa. A lot of that 4chan post above is just unbridled baby rage that I'm pretty sure Gura doesn't give much of a fuck about.

And tbh given some of the heinous shit they were saying in chat during the pedobait outfit reveal, I think we should collectively revoke their rights to have an opinion on anything.

I think greenlit is the wrong word here and would rather say forward. Reason being as that would imply it's the manager's fault Gura got the shaft when her manager is the same one that vetted the requests for two of the girls that got the most accessories. I'd honestly say Gura herself is the source here. She has accessories for her base model but never uses them. She knows this. She very likely knew she wasn't going to use accessories for the new model either so she saved everyone trouble and only asked for cat ears. And as boring as it is, it's the most sensible request cuz she spends 95% of her streams with just her head in the corner for games and zoomed in on her face for superchat readings.

I took a dive on the tweeter post of the rigger, and though there are stuff about lack of accessories, the majority are criticizing her work on the flatness of the rigging itself, which is reasonable because she did worse on a job that she was paid to do.

She rigged the base model and it was bad. She then somehow made it worse on the new one. She had months, if not years to improve her craft. She had been replaced by both Coco and Matsuri. She gave Anya boobs which isn't even in her original art. Surely she got some feedback before, right?

And yet, all my ire is actually directed to Cover, who kept hiring her even with her bad work history. And though 4chan sperging is a bad source of feedback, if even Reddit, which is the ultimate hugbox, is saying that it is bad to the point of T-chan locking the thread and making a modpost, then maybe it is bad, yes?

This isnt even about Gura anymore, its about calling out a bad job which people get fired for less, because somehow doing that labels you an anti nowadays. How is she still getting this commissions? Is this the so called Japanese Nepotism?

To give you an idea of someone who was equally bad or even worse than Shin Umiushi, but actually spent these past years improving immensely to becoming one of the better riggers. Guess who rigged the original, universally panned Flare model? Naname, the same person responsible for arguably the best rigged EN costume.
