This fucker's right touch pad was useless and killed any FPS experience.

If we're really plunging into the depths, it's hard to beat the CDI controller

That one is not that bad other than its size, it's a bit like the joycon of the Wii and the old Ascii jRPG controllers.

Ascii also made this infamous thing for the Gamecube/Phantasy Star Online.

CDTV was somehow worse than CDi, it even had a worse controller(it's wireless, through IR!)

Everyone says the GameCube is the best controller ever, but I don't agree with that statement at all, what with it's oddly sized A/B/X/Y buttons and small-ass D-Pad. Also the way the L/R buttons CLANKED everytime you pressed them made me think something was gonna shoot out of the controller.

I find the PS1/PS2 Dualshock controllers to be the best controllers, even surpassing the Sega Genesis/Saturn controllers (which is what I grew up with).

What the fuck. That looks like a photoshop meme.
Ascii was a weird company. Hey, let's make the MSX then weird controllers and publish magazines then, uh, RPG maker!

The truly worst controllers are the old keyboards from different home computers. Ten times as painful because people had to program the games using that keyboard. @UselessRubberKeyboard

Xbox because its for autistics
The funny thing about the shit Xbox controller is it is a result of Microsoft's brief work with Sega back before the began the Xbox fiasco. A large portion of the failed first Microsoft console's fanbase were bitter and angry Dreamcast fans who latched onto the Xbox after their console took a dirtnap.

And they have been stuck with their shitty layout ever since.

One would imagine after almost twenty years and 0/3 in the console market they would have bit the bullet and come up with something that is a good as the PS2/3/4 controllers.

The shape of the N64 controller exists solely because Nintendo never commits to anything until it prints money. You can see this with them sun setting the gameboy line and later ds line, you can see this with trying to make the NES seem like a toy by including ROB. They wanted an out in case analog sticks never caught on.

Worst official controller is the Sega Jaguar controller. Worst controller for video games was the Mad Catz GameCube controller that was like 75% the size of a normal one.

I got used to the N64 controller for the most part, the analog stick was not great and only got worse with wear and tear.

You want a shit controller? Just a complete fucking worthless turd piece of garbage "who thought this was a good idea" controller?

Fuck this piece of garbage and the console it was for.

I'd have to go with the old Atari 2600 joysticks. They only had to do one thing, and they did it badly.
If you're gonna play an Atari/Colecovision (both systems had the same controller port and the latter had an add-on to play the former's games), just use a Sega Genesis controller. Speaking of Sega controllers, the Master System controller was good, except for the squishy D-Pad, and don't get me started about the Atari 7800's controller (except the traditional two button controller that was only released in Europe). If you want to play Master System and 7800 games, just use an NES controller with a Retropad32.

The Gamecube controller is a giant piece of gay purple shit. The thumbsticks are stiff, the buttons are bizarrely placed, and the Z button is difficult and uncomfortable to press. I think it's actually worse than the N64 controller.
