Simple, they don't understand the purpose of the site. They think the purpose of this place is to bully and harass. To attack and go after those we don't like. They don't realize our purpose is closer to a bunch of assholes sitting on a couch laughing at monkeys in a zoo as it is live streamed to our remote location. That and they exist in a world of social pressure and where mobbing people with your "fans" is an acceptable way to interact.

I sat through this whole video. Every instance he uses "transphobia" can be substituted with "cis people didn't participate in my fetish." Yeah, We are just assholes, laughing and gossiping about other people on the internet in our own echo chamber, people who go out of the echo chamber to harass and bully are usually just as bad as the cows we galk at.

Hey, we are compelled by the very guidelines of the forum on which we are currently communicating to ridicule those who do so. It says so right above the little box in which we type up our every post, by the power of social pressure all those beyond our realm are safe from us until they enter this domain.

Honestly, I don't think I have ever witnessed in all my years of lurking before getting bored enough to post, a single time where a moderator has actually stepped in to enforce the rules beyond "under aged" or "this is illegal", and I am sure we have like... at least two more rules somewhere about that shit, but I don't even know the rules of this site, why would I? I just assumed the rules are "don't be a fucking annoying retard" and then the typical "don't do anything that could get us shut down" stuff and move on, figuring if there were more BS overly sensitive rules I would get bitched out and banned for them and that just means I wasn't the right fit for this place.

I've seen Null step in a few times because a local cow got out of hand and needed to be Ol' Yeller'd for their own good, but I can't think of any other times a mod has, well moderated, I am sure it happens because I see other forms of mod activity, just not actual... moderation. Most incidents have been kept in line by ridicule and self policing, so the system is clearly working, but I've never seen a cow realize that.
