I doubt they really care, though they may put out statements or do something akin to virtue signaling. Palestinians are the Haitians of the Arab world—they're considered lowly, dirty, uncultured, and bring problems wherever they end up. They tried to launch a coup in fucking Jordan once—so much for Arab brotherhood, I guess. Oh and when that fell apart under a rain of Jordanian mortars, they then went to Lebanon and contributed to the civil war there.

Israel's settlement policy is clearly antagonistic, but a geopolitical stalemate is exactly what they want. Nobody will address the situation and eventually Israel will just...win. But even after Israel evacuated Gaza, the Palestinians there still decided to fuck everything up. Pretty much killing the peace effort.

what happened in Gaza is a perfect example of how Hamas and the Israeli government feed off each other. After the Israeli disengagement Hamas took control of the strip (after a little "civil war" with PLO which lead to them being exiled from Gaza) and then Israel was like "alright we need to block the entire area" and Hamas was like "oh look what the Israelis are doing, let me control everything here and we will liberate you soon insha'Allah". Ever since that it's been the same ritual, and I get this feeling that deep inside both sides are actually happy to keep this status-quo. Hamas leaders get their qatari money on time via Israel, once in a while throw some rockets to show they're doing something and then agree on a ceasefire while keeping Israel as a threat to maintain their control, and the same thing on the other side, as most Israeli governments prefer to keep things simple without any major diplomatic headaches. Like, notice how in relatively "peaceful" times nobody in the Israeli government gives a shit about Gaza and what should be done about Hamas.
